Thought I'd do the intro this week, as it's my course choice and nobody has done it yet.
The Hamilton Golf and Country Club is an internationally recognized golf club featuring three nines indicated as the South, West and East courses.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In 1914, reknowned English golf course architect, Harry Shapland (H.S.) Colt, designed the original West/South combination which today's Canadian Open is played on. It continues to receive rave reviews from players and fans alike. The East nine was completed in 1975 and provides the Club with 3 different course rotations - W-S, S-E and E-W.
On July 1st, 2011, our short course was reopened after a brief hiatus. The opening allowed 6 brand new H.S. Colt replica holes to be unveiled. This opening signaled the end of many changes to our course over the last 5 years.
Weather report: Day 1: Medium wind, northeast Day 2: Low wind, east Day 3: High wind, southwest Day 4: Low wind, West

It's been ages since I played this, but I remember REALLY liking it. I may be remembering wrong, but I think some of the fairway/rough/green/hazard transitions might not be absolute "perfection," but the course itself is a beauty, lovely setup.
I think it'll be one for good scoring, so bring your good putting with you! (Yeah right Leon...)

very benign conditions in round 1 so managed to score quite nicely.Silly 3 putt on the par 5 17th was my only real mistake.Someone could go very low here.

Darn, wish I'd had time to test the course. Could've cranked up some settings...

Remember this is a short course, under 7000 yards even for a par 70 is short in today's game. I went a bit easier on the wind this week because we should have scoring conditions a bit more in relation to the real tournaments when not playing links golf.

I just think v firm (fairways and greens) and v fast might have made things more interesting/challenging, but no big issue with super low scoring every now and again 👍

Forgot to screenshot my scorecard for the 2nd round.Shot a 5 under 65,set off like a train & was 4 under after 4 ,one more birdie on the front 9 had me out in 5 under.Unfortunately my putter started misbehaving on the back 9,including a 3 stab from 10 ft on the 13th.So 14 under after 36 holes, not bad but course is set up for real low scoring.Enjoy 👍

I played all 4 rounds at the RBC Canadian Open. The only way I could catch Colly was to post a score and run to the clubhouse lol. He is sitting at -19 after 3 rounds! Another great course. I really enjoyed it!

People not absolutely tearing the course apart as expected 👍
Still think 2 or 3 will go VERY low, but that's ok.

Struggled to read the greens in round 1 and had some awkward distances to try and negotiate but other than the two bogies not too disappointed
