Correction - max score on 12th is +7 when I look at the stats page for the round. Happy with 72% fairway% and GIR on the last round. So event total for me is 66% fairway, 58% GIR, 47% scrambling - all of this is improvement in my game.

I figured I need some time on putting before I record - but should have recorded this round either way. Very good round - but managed a "Spieth" on the 12th - max score, +10? I think on that hole alone. First a slip on the tee shot (which result in very slow), and then a couple more pitches in the water.. Before then, I calculated short putt misses to be ca. 5 strokes, like a 4 foot birdie on 1st. Managed to play decent after the big snowman on 12th though, until I again missed short on both 17th and 18th. I am sorry, you will have to forgive me the +14 in round 4, I just got so pissed off with it I totally lost interest(see post in Gen' Discussion)

I am sorry, you will have to forgive me the +14 in round 4, I just got so pissed off with it I totally lost interest(see post in Gen' Discussion) What is to forgive? I know fully well how it is to get pissed off and speed-golf and loose interest. When I shot +80 on Greenbrier - I was in that mood alot, even though I at times in that tournament really enjoyed the challenge. I bet you had fun in some of the rounds at Augusta as well? I could easily get into a bad mood after my nightmare on the 12th - but I went ahead, missed an 8 foot eagle on the 13th, got a fantastic approach on the 14th - 2 foot for a new birdie. All I can say, is that we will get downs. In real life - I get much more downs than I get ups - but then, when I do play good - it feels so much better. That is a feeling that is very hard to get - and you will never get it unless you struggle and swear most of the time. I understand that many do not seek that in a video golf game - but it is kind of what we try to do here - keep it realistic. And a really bad round at +10 is not unrealistic at all. Imagine how Spieth felt when hit ball after ball into the water on the 12th when he lost the Masters to Willett. I could feel his frustration all the way through the TV screen. Or Garcia - when he shot ball after ball with too much backspin on the 15th - I can't remember, but I think it was +11 on that hole. Yes, they do not shoot bogey at every hole - but they do have bad rounds with lots of bogeys.

Second Round front nine felt like a repeat of the First. Birdied the 10th and the rest of the way in found some feel with the putter and the pitch shot to save pars. Made a great putt up the hill on the last from 18ft to finish at +2 and +13 overall.

Solid putting continued thru Rounds 3 and 4. Never felt comfortable here at Augusta even on 2019. To finish at +6 after that rough start. I'll definitely take it here.

Decided to play 2 round at Augusta tonight, will get up to date with the leaderboards and standing table also the handicap leaderboard for Augusta on Sunday as I have some time. Played really well and frustrated as I missed so many makeable birdie putts, round 1 I knew I should of just hit the 3 wood on 10 but just didn't listen to common sense and in the woods like andersnm in round 1, tried to get too cute with 3 pitch shots when short sided and massive elevation rolled back 3 times to my feet but managed to chip in for a triple bogie. Round 2 loads of birdies and missed shortish birdie putts, 2 under on the 18th teewith a great tee shot, I tried to hit a low shot into elevation and wind and was 1 foot from being perfect but left a long bunker shot. Hit a great 14 footer that was close but didn't drop for par, chuffed with the way I played and really happy to hit under par on this course.

Played last two rounds. Made some birdies but just cant keep big numbers off the card. Have to say - this is such a great course. Really happy with my eagle putt on 13 in the last round, just kept trickling and finally dropped.

Round 4 in early today as I am going out, played pretty well apart from 17 and 18 with 2 very disappointing double bogies. Made a mess with a 4 putt from 20 foot for eagle on 13. I had some extreme downhill putts that cost me today but putted pretty well. Anders tee to green was very good but struggled a bit with the flat stick in round 4. I love this course, look fantastic and plays really well on 2K21. Augusta is my favourite course irl, I have some really nice framed artwork of holes 11,12 and 18 on my walls at home.

Well played Paul If it hadn't been for the blowup on the 12th - I would have been right there up with you and Art. But yeah, putting has been the biggest weakness on my game so far - and not just round 4 - I actually was very pleased with the long birdie on 16th. I really hope to do better on the greens on Harbour Town. The greens there are also much easier than this course.

Thanks Anders, was disappointed with my finish on the 71st and 72nd holes but really enjoyed playing this great course. I noticed from watching you putt that you draw back the putter slowly. Is this the same method you used in TGC 2019?

Thanks Anders, was disappointed with my finish on the 71st and 72nd holes but really enjoyed playing this great course. I noticed from watching you putt that you draw back the putter slowly. Is this the same method you used in TGC 2019? No, I adopted this slow back in this game as the animation was much faster than TGC 2019. The problem I have with this, is that the game don't always register when I start my forward motion. Before the change they made in animation speed on shorter putts, I did not have that problem - as I move the stick firmly forward. But after the change, this has been a big issue. Personaly, I do not like the change in backswing speed on different length. I use to count back to help me gauge the backswing length - but that gets messed up with this change in speed. But I kind of get the backswing length most of the time - and it is the lack of registering and responing to a forward motion on the stick that is the main problem. On the 1st hole, where I miss a 4 foot putt - that happened a couple of times, before it suddenly responded. I guess you don't see that on the ghost play, as I get a couple of backstrokes that just goes back to starting position when I actually try to make the putt. I do like to move the stick back a few times where I do not move the stick forward, to gauge the distance - my kind of practice swing on putting (which I also did in TGC 2019), but that is on longer putts. So yeah, I never liked the fast backswing that was in this game, so slow back was essential to have any sort of control. And I do not like the new different backswing speed either. It just messes things up. I really miss TGC 2019 putting - it was great. With the new hole reaction, where it is much easier to lip out, I do not think they needed to change anything. HB-Craig said they did it because the power-meter made the putting too easy with the TGC 2019 putting. I disagree with that completely. I would rather have the option to have power meter on or off on putting, so the player could choose to have it on in other shots, but off putting.

I putt exactly the same as I did in TGC 2019 now maybe better as I didn't use the slightly elevated camera in that game. The only difference is on tricky downhill putts that have to be hit very softly on fast greens but as is such a short backstroke I have no problem with swing plane. I just couldn't get the hang of pulling back slowly. 95% of my putts now I have a dead straight line, was pushing and pulling loads of putts with the slow backstroke method, even missed a 2 footer in an early tournament. I recommend giving this way a try Anders on the practice green and the distance isn't a problem when you learn the feel, took me about half an hour on the putting green and a holed 98 footer in that practice session 😉

I really need to practice putting. I'm not sure, but I loose like 8-9 strokes a round at least on bad putting. I just had a go at the practice green, and I agree - the elevated camera is much better. So I will give it a go, full back on the stick and elevated camera.
