This week, we travel to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to play The Greenbrier at The Old White.
The Old White is the first of three courses at The Greenbrier Resort. It is named after the Old White Hotel that was in use from 1858 to 1922. The course is designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and opened in 1914. A decade later, Seth Raynor made some adjustments since guests had deemed the course too difficult. From 2010 through 2019, The Old White was the host of A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, formerly The Greenbrier Classic, a PGA TOUR FedEx Cup Event.

Just got done with round 1.......should’ve had a practice round as I found some greens difficult with undulation on what looked like straight putts. Aiming to break +20 over 4 rounds is this weeks goal so off to a decent start. Enjoy the Tourney all!!!

Round 1 completed. I was heading into the 17th with a nice Even par round when I get one of those dreaded Very Slow tempos off the tee. My shot landed in the water, costing me a double bogey. Ended at +2.

Well. I just played the worst round ever - in any video golf game (and in this game as well). Not sure what happened. Tempo fast and slow, and when I hit perfect tempo I missed the fairway as well. Swingline left and right. I felt like the old 360 controller - only worse.

My card for Round 1. Absolutely chuffed to bits with that, especially after the trials and tribulations from Week 1!! Now I just need to keep it going into the second round and beyond.  |

Swingline left and right. I felt like the old 360 controller - only worse. Patrick Cantlay was +11 midway through the R3 in the US Open yesterday. DJ was +4 and Paul Casey opened R3 with 5 straight bogeys. Maybe there’s a full moon or a new batch of sunspots? Things will get better soon! 😀 |

And the strange thing, is that I had just played a round at Sawgrass in the career mode (though on a slightly easier difficulty - pro) at -5 - and was quite consistent on tempo and line. |

I just finished R1 at Greenbrier. This course is scary and disaster awaits on any hole. I was playing well through most of the round but lost my swing down the stretch. I finished at +7 and I will take that every time on this course lol. I will post the R1 leaderboard when a few others play their round.

Has anyone seen jeff ? I was watching him on the leaderboard and we were hole for hole. I saw him go into the clubhouse at the turn and he never came out. I finished my round but still haven't seen him! 🤣🤣🤣 |

 First round played. Good driving off the tee, but absolutely terrible putting, somehow managed to three-putt from 20cm on one hole... Blasted one long putt out of the green  On the other hand made some great approach shots, even chipped in with 8 or 9 iron from about 18-19m, that was a nice bonus. |
