Ok what course and conditions? Think I should set it up as stroke play event but using matchplay rules to decide the winner? If we both post our scorecards in this thread the matchplay can easily be sorted

Choices are sudden death match play, 5 hole like the Open, 9 hole or 18 hole. |

I’d vote for 18 hole and posting the scorecards to figure it out for matchplay, but like I said I’m good with anything. Gentleman agreement between you both. US Open did a 18 hole strokeplay playoff in the past. Matchplay 18 hole is more fun, you both could play a live matchplay also if you get your timings right. |

I don’t have PS+ so I’m assuming I can’t play live. It’s not really my thing anyway though, I never know what times I can play and playing alone takes me long enough as it is sometimes. I’ll prioritize playing this before getting to other events this week, so if it gets setup I should be able to play at some point tomorrow, Wednesday at the latest. I’ll look for that society later. |

Ya know, as I think on this though, sometimes I wonder if it IS just me.
Its just never hear you guys complaining about having times when things are so far off that you can't explain it any other way.
I mean, take Round 3. I was off, but I knew it was me, knew I was not hitting them right. But Friday night in round 4, it felt differently, it was like I just could not hit a shot at all that was not fast. BUT... as I think on it, I was very tired, wasn't feeling well at all, and stressed over this virus stuff. So perhaps it WAS me, and I just didn't realize it.
I'd love to hear other thoughts on this. Do you guys ever have times that you think the mechanics of the game are the problem? or is it most always the player and their mood/state of mind?
I get this all the time, it’s been worse lately. I think it’s my internet though. I am rural so it’s slow but when traffic in my area is high is when I get the uncontrollable fasts. Some days I really have to slam the stick to hopefully get a fast and other days every shot will be a fast. I’m actually glad I read your post, I would sometimes think it was just me. |
