A couple of up and down -5's to finish. -27 total. A few shots short of gavlaar124. Firmer conditions tricked me up a bit and a few doozy pin placements in Round 4. The 6th is interesting!! Cheers

Putting not there this week, surprise surprise.
Playing decent, scored decent, but I'll be towards the bottom of the leaderboard...

After great play in the first 2 rounds, I had high hopes for rounds 3 and 4. After going (-3) in the first 4 holes in the third round, I went into neutral and finished at (-3). I played much better in Round 4. I had a nice approach to a par 5 with a 2 iron for eagle on hole #9. I had a chance to tie Colly with a 4ft slider for birdie on #18. I promptly missed and snapped my putter. I will have to look for a new one before next weeks tournament lol. Edit: I forgot to mention that this was another stellar course!

Round 3 I was paired with our gracious host andersnm and my best frienemy polekatt/josia. I started off well, even thru 7, the yanked my tee shot on 8 and struggled to a double from there. Did bounce back birdie on 9 to turn at +1, tied with Anders and a couple clear of Josia. Back was same score but never got it going. Putting was meh and I was not putting myself in many good spots to score from. Anders played well, nay, brilliantly on the back nine. Josia must have been feeding off my bad mojo as he also never got untracked. Good game Fellas, till next time. Onward!

Got myself a 4K tv. Can’t hit anything except a slow backswing now lol. Figured in for a penny in for a pound and have an XB1-X on the way. Probably won’t finish this week, but I’ll be back - bigger and better than ever 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

R3: -4 R4: -1
So many edges and inch-long par putts. And one green complex (16th hole I think) that fooled me. I had a bunker shot from 14 yds/-1 ft and I landed it right on the edge of the green so it would roll down to the hole. Too bad the edge of the green wasn’t green. It was fairway. So the ball stopped dead and a bogey ensued.
The Course Marshall asked me to leave after that because several mothers with children complained about my language.
Finished way down the leaderboard at -12. It’ll be good to get back to North America next week!

artvandelay You are correct sir, I just couldnt' seem to get a good rhythm with my tempo going in that round. Found myself with a lot of very difficult lies, and seemed like I was just barely off the green a lot. And did you happen to notice how many putts I missed by an inch or so?

Yes I did, but did not want to bring up again as I am sure YOU were aware of all the burnt edges you left out there. Fire Marshall wanted to have words with you but I said let him be, he may explode!

The only one that got me really hot was I think it may have been #7. Its the one that I had a short birdie putt, barely missed it, then barely missed the par coming back, even shorter. Those are the ones that burn me up so much they have the truck with the hose nearby!!

Nice to see how close we are on the PC leaderboard. If you keep putting good in the coming rounds, you should be in a good spot to beat my score Paul

Nice to see how close we are on the PC leaderboard. If you keep putting good in the coming rounds, you should be in a good spot to beat my score Paul You and Art totally outplayed me tee to green in round 2, I holed some really good putts including 2 really difficult big breaking putts from the right. Really nice course again Anders, feels so realistic to me and loving the greens not just because the putts are dropping but because they feel natural. Seemed like if a putt didn't go in it burned the edge, loved the design of the greens and good pin placements

I play there several times each year, and it is the best course near where I live. It is also not stupid expensive to play This was the second course I did in the designer, and the only thing that really strikes me now are the fairway to green transitions that should be smoother. I would also have made the forest around the 17th and 18th more dense (you don't find your ball if you hit in there). The forest in the area of 3-8 is not that dense, so the feel in that part is very realistic. Just for information, the club has made announcement that they are planning to change the 18th hole, and move it down towards our big lake Mjøsa (which is in play on the 17th). I am not thrilled with this - I think the 18th as it is now is a superb par 5 closing hole.
