I wanna show you guys something. I have oft complained that I think internet lag or bandwidth or something has a lot to do with this game.
Last night I got on, to play round 4, and I could not hit a shot that was not fast or very fast, no matter how slow I tried to swing.
The game was basically unplayable.
It was so bad, that at hole 12, I just quit out of frustration.
Today, I decided to load it up, at least finish the match, no matter how bad it was. Things were back to normal, I could tell the swing was doing what it 'should' feel like.
And take a look at my scorecard, at the difference.
Sometimes I feel like my worst enemy on this game is not not knowing what to do, or how to play holes, but the mechanics and programming of the game itself.

Its just never hear you guys complaining about having times when things are so far off that you can't explain it any other way.
I mean, take Round 3. I was off, but I knew it was me, knew I was not hitting them right. But Friday night in round 4, it felt differently, it was like I just could not hit a shot at all that was not fast. BUT... as I think on it, I was very tired, wasn't feeling well at all, and stressed over this virus stuff. So perhaps it WAS me, and I just didn't realize it.
I'd love to hear other thoughts on this. Do you guys ever have times that you think the mechanics of the game are the problem? or is it most always the player and their mood/state of mind?

Managed to sneak in and tie gav. I’d really like to have back the missed 5 foot birdie putt on 17 lol. Was fortunate to make birdie on 18 though after a terrible approach put me in the bunker, and the putt looked like it was going to barely miss but surprisingly fell in...so I guess it evened out.  |

I've seen other people swear their internet is an issue for them. Also seen suggestions it may be server related, country related, time of day related. Seems more common in america. Nothing conclusive... |

100% it's server related .... If you look on the main tgctours boards today you will see endless comments about how tempo has been off for a lot of people. I myself was unable to even load a course up earlier and when I did was getting numerous off tempo swings. The game is broken and Hb won't fix it

Sorry fellows too late to play my rounds this week, just seem to have lost some motivation with the CORONA VIRUS LOCKDOWN its getting me down all the gloom and doom on every news broadcast. I will be back next week, if I can cheer myself up a bit. Buck up Sam and turn off the news. They are TRYING to scare us! Just keep to yourself, wash your hands, and play some games. YOU promised me a game on PC, and as Judge Smails said:  Onward My Friend, Onward! |

I have no doubt the server can mess with your swing. There’s times I’ve had to smash the stick so hard to get a fast I’m leery of breaking it. Play a few hours later, and that same force is a very fast every single time. My swing accuracy also seems to vary even though I feel sure Im doing the same thing, but that part is kinda iffy. The tempo flaw though is 100% legit. |

Definitely server issues at minute,course loading is taking an eternity. polekatt/josia Do you play via Bluetooth,if so I would highly recommend plugging in & disabling Bluetooth.Definetly helps with tempo issues. |

Nope, I do not play Bluetooth, I have everything wired!

Low round of the week is from colly45 with a superb 63 in round 3. This week we have a tie for 1st, gavlaar124 and booze would you both be up for us setting up some sort of play off to decide the Sulland Open winner?. Personally I hate countbacks to decide winners as you both scored the same so it is a tie in my book. We are not in a rush for the result and what is more exiting in golf than a play off. |
