Yeah, he's not apologised there, and that's all that matters. He did seem clearly drunk rage posting there. He even tried to call me out for saying stuff about his wife and he hadn't even posted about her when I called him a troll! 😂 (Then does his classic thing of completey ignoring where he's f'ed up...) I don't think he's a good person, honestly. Though I do of course understand and accept your reasoning of the culture he's been exposed to. And respect you making efforts to maintain that relationship, whilst also calling them out on shit 👍 I have a couple of similar relationships in real life 👍 His ‘you might as well be dead if you live on the public tit’ shit was enough for me. Have removed him from my friends list and told him he’s a dumb fuck. It's a shame because I think there's a LOT of value to people who don't have the same world view maintaining some kind of "friendship." But yeah, to me, and clearly you too now, he's just way too extreme in some of his views. And beyond that, the guy is just a troll. |

I did invite him to the TST admin a few years back, he left because we didn't do everything he suggested. Got nothing against him but he is not very open minded to others suggestions and opinions.

I got myself into a bit of a hole about it yesterday. I’m an open person but I don’t have a big group of friends any more (people move on when you’re stuck in the same spot - it’s human nature) so value the ones I have invested time in.
I’m sure he wasn’t saying what he said about me personally, but that’s the problem - unless it’s someone he knows he just doesn’t care, which makes his actions just as selfish as the words he spews.
At this point I’m going to TRY to stop watching so much news and getting caught up in the emotion of world politics. It’s all just too frustrating so I’ll do my best to play the ignorance is bliss game.
Its 7.50am on the morning of my birthday, time for a bourbon I think 🙏🏼

He’s also curated the image he portrays. I’m not going to betray his trust by explaining that too far, but suffice to say the business he operates doesn’t require any tradesman. You couldn’t walk in off the street and do it, but you could train a monkey to do it in short order lol.

It’s the constant moving of the goal posts that bugs me. There’s no reply when you do answer it’s always ‘well what about x’ rather than registering that they’re wrong and thinking about how that changes things.

It’s beyond embarrassing now. I’m at the point now that with all of the toxic posts from his supporters and looking at the polls and stuff, they may actually have the leader they deserve. This election is possibly the biggest moment in the history of the modern world. The fall of America and rise of China (and whoever else fills the void) will have massive consequences. Who protects Israel if America doesn’t? |

Right now Australia are negotiating opening up with New Zealand. We are setting up criteria a country has to meet for their borders to be open to our citizens and ours to them. Trade with those countries will begin sooner than with countries locked down or with it out of control like in the US. China is miles closer to being opened up.
America is going to lose its economic power. Left with it’s military power and idiots in charge, any option they’re likely to choose is going to be bad for the world. Heaven knows spending a normal amount of GDP on military and looking after your own people is a bridge too far for them - Gotsta have them guns, from a micro to a macro level.
It’s a bigger problem than I had thought about previously. I’m beyond even discussing it really other than with a select few.
