TAN-18 showed a tight field @ Royal Melbourne West, a tough classic Australian sand-belt course. Scores ranged from 5 under to 5 over par with Demonondalinks and Horusphoenix squeezing a shared win for themselves and both picking up their second TAN crown. Well done! Just one shot behind was InfamousEddieC who was able to secure third place for himself. Royal Melbourne is a demanding course where good driving is essential to have any chance of scoring. All in all, all scores are showing strong play at the ultimate level. The next TAN tournament will visit another tough sand-belt course at South Yarra and lets see how the field will cope with that challenge!  Results @ Royal Melbourne West:

longpole great round at South Yarra that -6 was great scoring, your long putting (over 10ft) was exceptional at 50% completion. Our scores have been very close over the last 5 TAN tournaments, 3 tied including a joint win at Loch Lomond, you stuffed me a Merion and I beat you by 2 strokes at Royal Melbourne . Will have my work cut out today though to catch that great 6 under round though

Will have my work cut out today though to catch that great 6 under round though Cheers Paul, throughly enjoyed the Rd, the 18th was a real tough closing hole on legend , still got the famous Horusphoenix to go if he plays . |

I missed an 8 foot birdie putt on 18 after a sweet 5 wood approach. You need to find fairway on that hole for sure. |

The TAN-19 tournament again set some records. First of all, we have a new record members joining in with some big names in there. The field is definitely getting some 'heavies' signing up for TAN. We welcome new members GreyOsprey, Hendomedes, AsYouDo64, Smijti, FdParis and A. Vandelay. All welcome! Second, we have a new TAN record for the lowest round recorded in our society: a sensational 60 was carded by Horusphoenix!  Absolutely stunning, especially on a course like South Yarra. This is a world class result to be sure. The ' Zone' must be strong around Horus LOL! Congratulations with this blow-out victory and 3rd TAN-crown!! Second place was shared between Rastaman4K and Mr Longpolex with very respectable 66's. TAN is getting some serious traction with the new memberships coming in as the word is spreading. Life is good.
