Take a slug of Johnnie Blue every time you see me duff the ball lol. Great playing! Your putter was red hot with that 'shotgun' start!! Congrats. Dont worry, i duffed myself unconscious as I had 'technical' issues with me driver and blew myself up! Anyway, sh*t happens on this level. Next!!

TAN-16 landed at the Majestic Spyglass Hill course with the largest playersfield yet. 20! players took on the challenge at the elite level, and again, we welcome three new members with Demononthelinks, PeteCuttings and Golfhead1. This course is no pushover to be sure and at the highest level an extremely difficult course under any condition. Even so, we have -again- a spectacular threesome who ended together at 7 under par carding 65's to share the win! Tuffguts, TAN-crowns leader, taking his 5th win, DonkeyPuncherBen, picking up his third win and 'newby' Demononthelinks led the way with magnificent play. Congratulations gentlemen! These are exceptional scores and deserve full praise. But to all players: great to see everybody holding on, persevering and grinding it out. Like in real life, only practice and determination are the building blocks to improve. The TAN-society's objective is to emulate the real game with all its highs & lows, warts and all! We Shall Overcome! Results @ Spyglass Hill:
T1: Tuffguts: 65 (-7) T1: DonkeyPuncherBen T1: Demononthelinks 4: SimChars1968: 69 (-3) 5: Rastaman4K: 70 (-2) T6: Hammers1man: 71 (-1) T6: Pen Knight T6: Mr Longpolex T6: InfamousEddieC 10: Colly45: 72 (E) 11: Bova Kian: 73 (+1) T12: M Bel_Trane: 74 (+2) T12: Pete Cuttings 14: Meyo: 76 (+4) 15: Charles: 80 (+8) T16: WinterOx: 81 (+9) T16: Yeltzman T16: Davildo 19: Skunky: 89 (+17) 20: Golfhead1: 101 (+29) NEXT: TAN-17 @ Utrechtse de Pan

TAN-17 landed in the Netherlands for a meet at one of its top courses near the city of Utrecht. Good scoring was evident with lots of ties on this good woodland course, but one clear winner left the field behind: DonkeyPuncherBen closed with a convincing 65 to take his 4th TAN win. Congratulations! Second place had to be shared between three players who carded 68's, among others Pen Knight who became very emotional with his hard fought score. Other players struggled, which on TAN level is always a frust. Better luck next time! Results @ Utrechtse de Pan:1: DonkeyPuncherBen: 65 (-7) T2: Pen Knight: 68 (-4) T2: Bova Kian T2: Meyo T5: Hammers1man: 69 (-3) T5: Colly45 T5: Mr Longpolex T8: Davildo: 70 (-2) T8: InfamousEddieC T8: Demonondalinks 11: M Bel_Trame: 72 (E) 12: Skunky: 74 (+2) 13: Golfhead1: 80 (+8) 14: Yeltzman: 81 (+9) 15: Charles: 85 (+13) 16: Zooby97: 87 (+15) NEXT: TAN-18 @ Royal Melbourne West!

Well played Ben again top score on this level. Special mention of a great week for rivals Pen and Meyo, well played both of you with that 2nd place. I want to thank Charles and Skunky for setting up this society it perfect for my love of this game and the great challenge. We do really have the ultra sim experience here. Also a huge thanks to charles56 for his fantastic USE schedule this season, just been a joy to play some fantastic courses and the course set ups are just spot on.

Hi All; thx for thumbs-up on TAN. Appreciated!. Aim to please. A little heads-up on what we are planning. 2023 will be the TAN start-up season and used to iron out possible issues and evaluate things. Skunky/Quade, me, Longpole/Neil and Hammers1man/Paul are all pitching in to get it right. 2024 will be TAN's first full season and the idea is to follow the USPGA-,DPworld- an LIV tour schedules centering around the 4 majors and also trying to get a good mix of actual played courses, other real courses and some good fictionals to fill up the TAN schedule. TAN's standard scheduling will remain the 1 round/2 day format for regulars and 2 rounds/3 day for the majors as that seems to work out best for everybody. Course selection will remain flexibel if need be and set-ups will also remain at TAN-standards, so no 'funny stuff'. We await full schedule from USPGA and LIV and will start filling in the TAN schedule in the coming months. For 2024 we will open a new thread in due time.

I could try the twitch thing if anyone actually wants to watch me play but I'd have to figure out how to make that work. I don't really use the PS5 for anything but this game and HBO/Netflix.
I also tend to play on short notice, usually I try to log in once I wrap up my work and the kids are still in daycare to get a couple rounds in while it's quiet but that can be different times of day

TAN-18 showed a tight field @ Royal Melbourne West, a tough classic Australian sand-belt course. Scores ranged from 5 under to 5 over par with Demonondalinks and Horusphoenix squeezing a shared win for themselves and both picking up their second TAN crown. Well done! Just one shot behind was InfamousEddieC who was able to secure third place for himself. Royal Melbourne is a demanding course where good driving is essential to have any chance of scoring. All in all, all scores are showing strong play at the ultimate level. The next TAN tournament will visit another tough sand-belt course at South Yarra and lets see how the field will cope with that challenge! Results @ Royal Melbourne West:
T1: Demonondalinks: 67 (-5) T1: Horusphoenix 3: InfamousEddieC: 68 (-4) T4: DonkeyPuncherBen: 69 (-3) T4: Bova Kian T6: Hammers1man: 70 (-2) T6: SimChars1968 T6: Colly45 T9: Rastaman4k: 71 (-1) T9: Hendomendes T11: Charles: 72 (E) T11: Mr Longpolex 13: Ronrun: 73 ((+1) T14: Skunky: 76 (+4) T14: Pen Knight 16: Golfhead1: 77 (+5) NEXT: TAN-19 @ South Yarra, Australia!
