I will point out that WeltyBeast has a 2.7 over par average score after 22 TAN rounds played. I do believe that he has switched to a Razer controller from a stock Xbox controller (which is very unforgiving for legend swing difficulty especially on XBox). So his scores have started to get lower which is understandable. It's also possible for players with higher average scores to hit great scores now and again. Davildo who's average TAN score is 2.5 over par actually won a tournament when TAN was a scratch competition with a round of -10. Having 2 leaderboards and 2 ranking also gives Charles more work as the tournaments are close together timewise. To me TAN is different as it is like a handicapped society where anyone can win on their day. We do have The Legend Tour which has replaced USE Master Tour, this is a scratch competition and separate from TAN. Personally I enjoy both formats and it is best to separate them through different societies I feel. Actually the controller change is a perfectly reasonable explanation. That's basically what I meant by mounting an investigation. Will you guys be doing a cross platform leaderboard for the Legend Tour? You missed the first tournament but week 2 is on now, 8 week seasons with a big points major for week 8. Ranking points table will be up after week 2 and yes it's PC,PS and XBox, be good to see you there ultra-sim-experience.proboards.com/post/17026

TAN-44
Good field again @ Mineral Ridge. We greet first time winner OrsoGrande to pick up his first TAN crown with a excellent net 66 to the finish. Congratulations and well played! GreyOSprey and ZuperAwesomeDad followed, to claim a shared second place, both also playing great rounds and dipping under their handicaps. With the handicaps now solidly in place the leaderboards are tightning up as they should. A TAN crown is reachable for every player now, and playing well (or better!) at your own level will get good results (and points in the 2024 season). Keep at it gents! Net results @ Mineral Ridge GC:

TAN-45
Newport proved to be an attractive venue for the TAN crew as everybody managed net sub-par rounds and save one also gross sub-par rounds! The course yielded opportunities and low scoring was in the cards. Mr Longpolex brought it down to a impressive 61 gross to lead it in that department, but for the net leaderboard it was none other than WeltyBeast who carded a net 62 to win outright and also picked up his 6th TAN Crown. Congratulations! Davildo claimed second place with a strong 63 just behind the winner, and a trio of players shared third place with OrsoGrande, Colly45 and Bova Kian closing in with 64's. Only three players under par on Chisolm Trails (which is Colonial CC for those who might not have noticed it ). Outright winner this time is Bova Kian with a 67 3 under par score and his very first TAN crown. Congratulations! Excellent result. Second place is shared by A.Vandelay and WeltyBeast who carded 68's. Great playing guys. Playing under your TAN hcp is doubly rewarding! Net results @ Chisolm Trail:

TAN-47
A strong field teed it up at the beautiful Cypress Point course to see two 'big guns' share the win in DonkeyPuncherBen and WeltyBeast, who carded excellent net 67's 5 under par. Both players are regulars in the TAN crown dept. DPB winning his 5th TAN crown and WB his 7th tournament! Impressive playing gentlemen and congratulations! Third place was pinned by Bova Kian, who continues his good form, coming in with a net 69. Good stuff! 6 players managed to bring it in net under par on this great course, which played as expected: tough! Also a new member with LowToeKnockDown. Welcome! After 4 rounds you will receive a TAN handicap. Also, its handicap recheck for the whole field after this tournament, so be sure to check your number. After 47 tournaments the TAN start-up 2023 season will shortly (after # 55) be rebooted with some new tournaments for the fall and winter to lead up to the 2024 season. Tournaments will be on the new 3-day duration, with a couple of 'twofers' (2 rounds) built in, which will have the 4 day duration. We will also begin a tryout with the new points reward system to test workability etc. Net results @ Cypress Point:

TAN-48 (updated)
An otherwise good course from designer Chris Denomy proved to be a bit of a headache due to a bad pin position on the 9th green . Its always annoying to have something like that happen, especially when we take special care to avoid this as much as possible. Strangely enough, some scores did not suffer too much and one player in particular actually was able to find extra gears and put the pedal on the metal to bring it in with a whopping ... 58 net!! Also, WeltyBeast is taking over the lead in most TAN crowns with a equally impressive 8. He's the new TAN King in town! Congratulations! In shared second place, three players carded excellent 67's with 'old hands' Demonondalinks, Mr Longpolex and A. Vandelay. Second place through a post-round adjusted score we pinned Weirsy (formerly known as OrsoGrande) on the board as he decided on a name change. In shared third place, three players carded excellent 67's with 'old hands' Demonondalinks, Mr Longpolex and A. Vandelay. We also greet a new player in PuffyPops, coming in with an impressive opening round! Play 4 rounds, and you are on the board with your official TAN handicap to take on the TAN crew! To all players we thank you for persevering and finishing your round, despite the obvious ridiculous situation on the 9th green. It shows your tenacity! Net results @ Pacific Dunes:

TAN-49
It looks like vacation time is over for most as a more robust field got ready to tee it up again, this time for TAN 49 at the beautiful Whiskey Trails, a truly exquisite design by Jason Fowler/'Energ1zer'. The course played true & straight and proved a good test for all. Greens could be testy at times but the players in control of their flat stick would be able to post strong scores. And so it happend as we see WeltyBeast crushing it again with a powerful result, carding a magnificent 62 net to take his 9th! TAN Crown and expand his lead as the record setting TAN winner. Great result and impressive playing! He was followed by two other TAN big guns in Tuffguts and Mr Longpolex, coming in with strong 66's. Fantastic playing guys! Net results @ Whiskey Trails:

TAN 50Torrey Pines North, the classic championship course in California, was the next meet for the TAN crew. A tough long course where the driver needs to work to have a good round, we greet a first time winner -who obviously was deep in The Zone - in Jrod, who blasted himself to first place in a spectacular fashion, carding a net 59! completely smashing his hcp to smithereens . These are one of those rounds that makes your head spin and whatever Jrod found in his game... it worked!!! Not far behind, we see CD posting a strong 62 claiming second place and A. Vandelay with a 64 for third place, all excellent scores on this big course indeed! Most of the field was able to play or better their handicap. Net results @ Torrey Pines North:

No real excuses for +8 at Maxwell Plantation but unfortunately on PS5, you couldn't see the streams on the hole card. Or I couldn't see them anyway! Is there a way to zoom the map?
Cheers.

I was really frustrated as well. The hazards were not marked on the overhead and not at all visible on any view I could do on my TV. It was really frustrating to keep hitting shots where I intended and have them find some little stream and cost me strokes. I'm sure the course plays nicely with the scout cam on but it's not an appropriate course for this format until the developers make those little water hazards show up on the overhead view

Yep frustrating lads , went in 4 times for a swim , think it's where the designer shoves heavy rough under the water table , it then no show on the map . I quit out half way Rd with frustration but I came back , don't like quitting out .

The creek just isn't wide enough to register in book. I had played the course 4 times an knew about the creeks but I still dunked a few.
