Round 4 and shot +11. Absolutely p****d off to be honest. Play three, for me great rounds, and then this. Perhaps a bit of common sense with setting up wouldn't go amiss, okay you want to set up realistically with weather etc but I am sure on a course this tight with water on a fair few holes, high winds would have been sufficient. By the time I had got to the turn I really couldn't wait for the round to end, no enjoyment from this sadly.

Mildly competitive with the leaders for 3 rounds, then blow up a hole or two in R4 to drop down to the bottom of the leaderboard. All that hard work gone. I’ve corrected that problem lately, though. I start out now at the bottom of the leaderboard and just stay there. 😀

Not going to be a able to get my rounds in this week (just too busy with work) which is a shame as it's a very nice course. Looks like the wee breeze in round 4 gives it some protection

Just try stopping the ball on the green with a 50 mph tail wind

That course. Those winds. Poor choice. Reference the scores posted. I guess very high winds don't come out when there is plenty of water on the course . Not supposed to be fun just one of those days when you get your head down and grind out a score. The 4th round scores do highlight how good leon and Tuffgut's 4th rounds were. You'll be happy to know that I picked the conditions for Norway which are very good scoring conditions for all four days.

I'm pretty sure nobody plays golf at Kungsangen in december.

Played a good first round, -1. Lots of good approach shots and birdies (7 if I remember correctly), but I'm still making too many mistakes... First hole I sliced my drive behind some trees and then found the water after pulling my approach, what was supposed to be another wicked intentional slow-slice lol. Not a way to start your tournament. Second round was very similar as the first. Lot of birdies (6 or 7), just less bogeys this time so I finished with a nice -3. On my third round I was on fire (for a while at least). Got a nice hot streak on the front nine, chipped in for an eagle at driveable par 4 6th, chipped in for a birdie at the very next hole, also birdied 8th. Back nine everything fell apart, my tempo suddenly was way off with full shots and the putting yips hit me big time. Got a couple of double bogeys and bogeys and I finished my round with a dissapointing 73 (at least after what seemed to be my best round). Fourth round was just a crazy struggle, fought as best as I could but still lost my shots somewhere... I managed to birdie the 17th to get my score under par in the tournament, but I still had the 18th.. A great drive and second shot later I had a ~50m pitch shot left. A terrible pitch ended up to a lower tier right of the flag. I then overread the right-to-left break on my next uphill putt, which left me a scary 1m downhill left-to-righter. Made a decent putt that somehow dropped in to save my par, and just leaving me under par for this week. We've been meaning to have a "boys golf trip" to Stockholm from across the pond for a while now, but still haven't had the perfect chance for everybody to go. Bro Hof and Kevinge were on the list, but I'll definitely have to add Kungsängen to the list now that I'm familiar with it.

If I see winds like that again in any event I will play a practice round first to get a feel for it. We don't play the conditions like that very often and I wish I had done just that. You are absolutely right Paul, you just need to knuckle down and play for par on every hole, knowing there will be a few dropped shots. I was pretty frustrated after my fourth round and I apologise if my earlier post upset those that do a great job of setting the events up, it is the same for everyone, and in a strange way I think I would actually quite enjoy the challenge of those conditions in the future!
