Not many makeable birdies chances to start. Wasn't as sharp either with the ball striking. Still got it to -4, when I got to the downhill par 3 15. A flighted PW was the perfect distance. Unfortunately when it left the clubface. All I could say was....nope! Flared short right and into the water. Double bogey there. Got a stroke back on the next with a chip in from just off the green. From the sounds of it, better grab my windbreaker for the Final Round. Onwards....

Round 3 and: Oh no, Art! You had a great start to this week. Hopefully you'll bounce back in R4.

Crappy first round at +4. Better second round at -4 or -3. I forget.
Had a clean card with 4 birdies until the 15th. I think I birdied the 17th or 18th to get back to -4 for the round. Losing that clean card hurts more than being in last place. (Again.) 😀

And I think it’s cool that you guys post your scorecards. I know how to do it, and I’ve even streamlined the process a bit on mobile, but half the time I forget to screenshot on the PS4. And even if I remember, the other half of the time I’m too lazy to be bothered. I am.........theweakestlink.

My card for Round 3 and pretty happy with that. A couple of errors but managed to keep it in the red!

Really struggling with playing as other things going on and can’t seem to keep it on the course at the moment when I do Play so having a break for a few days or so, think I’m just preoccupied with getting my latest course finished and real life so been neglecting playing and it seems to have given me the yips unexpectedly!
Will get this course published and then can spend some time actually playing pixel (and hopefully some real) golf again next week or the week after.
Good luck to those still playing and see you soon

Round 3 was probably the most consistent round I have played on the new game.Missed 2 fairways & 2 greens but only by a yard or so,one of which was the 18th,where I managed to chip in for birdie for the second consecutive round.Probably make a mess of final round which I will play tomorrow evening 😁

Bit shaky of a start in those winds. But pitched in for birdie on the 5th and followed up with a birdie putt on the next. Solid golf for the next couple of holes as I tried to manage my game in those conditions. Makeable birdies were probably 6-8 yd chip shots as I couldn't hold the greens on my approach shots. Almost made a 67 footer up the hill for a bomb of an eagle on 14. But just came up inches short. Two more bogeys in the closing stretch had me finish +2 and -13 overall.

3rd round and I know you are all wondering why I am so lousy when playing at home (ca 220 km/350 mi from home), but I can tell you. Too many friends and too many late nights. As you can see, I was sick at both 1st and 2nd. Well, that was because of the golf actually...

R3 was sailing along nicely until the 15th. I had just holed a 39-foot birdie putt on 14 to go -6 for the round (6 chirps and no Humphs as Art would say!) and was feeling pretty confident as I headed to 15.
I hit a nice drive right down the middle of the fairway, but promptly followed that with a tugged, fast approach out of nowhere that left me in the rabbit food left of the green. One poor club choice later I was off the green on the other side, chipping for par. Nope. Tap in for bogey. Damn.
My drive on 16 was also very nice, but I over-compensated for 15 and hit a slow tempo approach that left me short and right of the green. Couldn’t get up and down from there, either. Back to back bogeys. My finely polished round now had fingerprints and smudges all over it.
Struggling now on 17 and 18, I managed to scramble for 2 pars to finish. I am disappointed in those bogeys, but I’m pleased to be under par at this point!
