After a Corona-free virtual flight across the Atlantic - we arrive in Helsinki, Finland for our Euro-swing on our Tour. And we start off to play the Erkko Trophy at Helsinki GC.
Helsinki Golf Club sits next to Tali manor that has become the clubhouse. The course has hosted tournaments on the Ladies European Tour.

Wow Art, that's amazing! You just tied the offical course record set in 2006! I just finished my first round as well, 6 birdies and 3 bogeys for -3, 68. Round felt really good, didn't have any bad misses and (almost) all the shots came out the way I imagined. Being familiar with the course really does wonders to your swing, I felt commited with every shot and planned for worst case scenarios. Now why can't I play this intelligent golf in real life?  |

So, I tried to get in touch with artvandelay 's daughter, to see if she would text me during my rounds. She told me she doesn't text with strangers and especially strangers that are lousy golfers!  I was able to hook up with nonusehki and he gave me a great tour of the course which he designed. Both of us missed some opportunities to grab lower scores.  Played R2 solo but couldn't gain any ground.  |

Wasn't quite on tempo to start. Missed most of my shots to the left. Didn't take advantage of the other par 5s. Still a hole out from the bunker and a quality pitch shot for birdies helped me score for this round. No bogeys on the scorecard is a good thing too. Saw Mr. En Fuego Vandelay on the top of the Leaderboard. Phenomenal round by him! 👍  |
