hammers1man. Thanks for having me back & making me feel so welcome again.Really enjoyed playing USE again, highlight of my week was having the trophy achievement pop up after round 4 for 18 gir, didn’t even realise 😁 You are always very welcome here Mark, no worries if anyone wants to take a break for a bit. What you will find is that everyone in the admin wants to make the game as realistic as possible ( personally I think what we have now is spot on for realism). It can be punishing but it can be so rewarding because you know it takes timing and skill to hit under par here. But what also is very important as I don't see this an ultra competitive society is for every member to be involved, I want hear about member's round experience lower down the leaderboard as much as the top. When you have 20 or less playing each week you notice everyones rounds so much more .I prefer that to the TST where I get lost in the numbers and it feels disconnected to me. This is a society first and we play sporting competition second, Tuffguts called a 2 stroke penalty last week and I did the week before(my first ever) for using splash shot by mistake. That's what I love about playing here and thanks for coming in and heading up the secondary links tournaments, I need more practice and nice to have that with some great courses and a bit of competition also

Round 4 and I had hopes of an improvement over the debacle of round 3. Those hopes were dashed after a visit from Frosty on the 4th (self inflicted, poorly executed pitch unless the goal was to go swimming). Still enjoyed the rest of the round, would have been more enjoyable with a yardage book that was zoomed in a bit (surely they know I am on the Champions circuit?). Not a final leaderboard, Paul get er done, but Here is where I stand looking up at most of y'all:

Just finished my Final Round at The Players. Quite a bit of a mountain to climb as both Paddy and Tuffguts have been playing extremely well here. Opening bogey on the first had a bit of nerves and missed a 7 footer. What happened after that, guess you could say I found the zone. Four straight birdies and started to make a charge up the Leaderboard. Another three straight after the turn and was in contention. Had to lay up on 16 as my drive found the rough on the right. But put it in the right yardage for my lob wedge, with the heart rate increasing with 17 in the background. Made the tricky slider for birdie. Aimed slightly left of the pin on 17 and was on dry land. Whew. Got fortunate with my driver on 18 as I pulled it but stayed in the fairway. PW left and hit it past leaving a another slider from 11 feet. Made it for a 64 and finished the event at -18. Cracking round Will, I'll play your ghost on Saturday for my round 4, hopefully it will spur me on to beat @sirwade this week Waiting on Paul to get his final round in and burst my bubble lol!

Waiting on Paul to get his final round in and burst my bubble lol! Waiting on imgur to sort itself out to post my round scorecard , hit a 69 wade sorry to burst your bubble, my whole game was pretty sharp and missed a lot of makeable birdie putts under 10 foot and holed a lot of birdie putts from 13 to 20 foot

Round 4 , 3 ball with Anders and Will. Very enjoyable and nice to witness a great 4th round by Will. My own game was super solid, more frustration of missed birdie putts than anything else. The putting over 10 foot was good this round.

Well played Paul Thanks Anders, my best rounds in the game seem to be on this course. You need to keep it up in Europe Paul - because there are several that has upped their game; @sirwade, SimChars1968, artvandelay (if he can avoid his frosties) - and me .. and Tuffguts who suddenly is again at the top. I am sure I have forgotten some names now..

The Players Championship final leaderboard stooneysooner wins the unofficial 5th major on 20 under par, 2 shots ahead of PaKaLoLo 77 on 18 under. Sosigis and Tuffguts tie for 3rd on 17 under. Low round of the week a brilliant 60 in round 2 by the champion.
