My 4th round was a test of stamina. Played pretty ok with the 3 last holes to play. Yesterday was -1 on those, so fear and hope again. Well, it turned out I had no stamina. +4 and an 81 for a total of some big sum.
At least my pitching around the greens are slowly progressing.

Just finished my Final Round at The Players. Quite a bit of a mountain to climb as both Paddy and Tuffguts have been playing extremely well here. Opening bogey on the first had a bit of nerves and missed a 7 footer. What happened after that, guess you could say I found the zone. Four straight birdies and started to make a charge up the Leaderboard. Another three straight after the turn and was in contention. Had to lay up on 16 as my drive found the rough on the right. But put it in the right yardage for my lob wedge, with the heart rate increasing with 17 in the background. Made the tricky slider for birdie. Aimed slightly left of the pin on 17 and was on dry land. Whew. Got fortunate with my driver on 18 as I pulled it but stayed in the fairway. PW left and hit it past leaving a another slider from 11 feet. Made it for a 64 and finished the event at -18.

Thanks Wade ๐ After the four straight, had another birdie chance but couldn't control the HR and nerves and under read it. I really thought on 18 tee it was in the water, but got lucky. That was an intense round for sure.

Cracking round Will, I'll play your ghost on Saturday for my round 4, hopefully it will spur me on to beat @sirwade this week

Second round was very solid with just two exceptions (both bogeys was 4 foot misses) - and I did not take advantage of the par 5's except the 16th. Best round for me in this season.

Great score Anders. Looks like youโre starting to put it together ๐ Indeed. I just had a practice of the front nine on PGA Catalunya Stadium with very fast greens - and as you know, I play Legend when I practice. And I had -2 on those holes - so I felt confident on the first tee on Sawgrass right after that practice My round could have been equal to Tuffguts if I had not missed those short putts, and made a couple of up and downs on the par 5's. But as long as I play this solid golf, I am happy as I know mistakes will come now and then.

Third round was not great. Hit water twice for two tripple bogeys - one on the 18th. And, three close putt misses from 3-4 feet that is just pathetic. Best to forget this round..

Fourth round was again very solid - but quite ordinary with only one birdie. I am quite ready and looking forward to Europe now - Onwards!
