Good luck Ray, I had a really bad final round, no excuses, missed a few putts and my head went plus the wind was blowing me all over the place, finding water that I had not seen in the 1st three rounds.

Thx Hammersman did not know how important that birdie was on the 18th until I watched the video Phew !!!!!  Enjoyed watching that Ray, It was as if I was on TV lol, close finish thought I had no chance of beating you after that final round, I will try and add all the Xbox players on here into my friends list, and maybe we could play a few rounds live, that would be fun... sending friends requests through the Xbox hope you all accept.( maybe this feature will be on the PC in the next game and we can all play together....) Ray how about some commentary whist you are playing , having read some of your posts on here I think it would be very entertaining |

When Larry restarted USE multi platform I wanted to make it masters only as I also wanted to make TST masters only when I was admin there. The most important thing for me here is it should be as realistic as possible, I have tested PS4 and it is as hard to hit straight as on PC a little bit easier on the tempo. Would like to hear @sirwade comment on the differences of Xbox vs PS4 also, but one thing I have found is putting is no different from PS4 then PC. My problems with pro vs masters is there is no balancing what so ever, HB did nothing there it's just two difficulty levels with a little distance for compensation. Not sure if anyone remembers here that plays TST, we had a guy that came in from nowhere playing pro clubs one week and won comfortably then disappeared when it was suggested he play masters. Yes we have a difference in yards in the long game but pro's have a much more forgiving accuracy and tempo. Now I could live with that but when it comes to the short game pro clubs are ridiculously overpowered, if it is distance vs accuracy why are the short games not identical in difficulty. The most important criticism of pro's is the putting (which doesn't use tempo) is much easier because it is much easier to hit the putts straight ,that is the biggest problem I have as the putting is the most realistic and challenging part of the game, at least that difficulty is the same for all 3 platforms with master clubs. I am not sure who actually plays pro clubs(I know everbody on pc plays master clubs) and its players on PC like polekatt/josia and chipsforaces that I have huge respect for that are always fighting with their game and keep trying to improve it week after week but stick to the toughest difficulty. Btw Ray as your -15 last week showed you are way too good for the junior clubs anyway and tbh you would not be legitimately beating your fellow Xboxers each week using them imo. If I could I would have all 3 platforms playing Xbox masters tempo difficulty as it is the most challenging. Round 3 in the bag, tee'd it up with Anders and UncleVirt who both played well in tougher conditions than rounds 1&2. Real struggle with so many made up and downs for par including a 19 footer for par. My approach game was poor and tempo was off a bit but somehow managed to get an under par 71 with a great finish on the 2 par 5 closing holes. A 25 foot holed eagle putt on 17 followed by 2 putts on 18 to close out with birdie. 9 shots ahead of Anders and amazingly only 2 shots behind last weeks champion going into round 4.   |

But hole 15 got me, disaster struck. I hit a very fast and a very slow on the same hole, then couldn't putt, and triple bogied. From there on out, I couldn't putt straight, and missed a putt by millimeters on each of the next three holes.
Ah well, still, this was by far one of my better matches. rock on!

You came good when you had to, the birdies on 17 and 18 were nice to see after youd had a rough round. It was a crazy finish. Freebird at -5 on the 18th tee, both you and I at -4. I thought I’d be right to birdie and match you but my drive killed me. Not as bad as Freebirds second killed him though. That came from nowhere. I could have holed a few more putts, but I did hole a couple of nice longer ones so it evens out I guess. Fun tournament, roll on next week 👍 |

I'm guessing I have to go back and accept your invitation? I'm not that good to play against you guys, but I'll try. Only thing I'll warn if for some reason I get kicked out of a session, it's because of my satellite internet signal. Not because I'm doing poorly. Btw, had fun playing skins yesterday against two other players. I won 8 skins on the second to last hole to win. I notice you can do match play, best ball and skins. How does one join a stroke play match? Or can you only set one up against a "friend" you've added? |

Just read the update on the TGC page. Made me wonder how many guys use a less than 100% swing on full swings for distance control, and how many (if any) play it like I do and always go for 100% on everything apart from chips. My theory is that I struggle with tempo anyway, so just want to have one swing to reproduce - and that there’s only a 10m gap between clubs so if I hit it how I want I shouldn’t be more than 5m away. Just curious... Speaking for the gals...probably am the only one here, I'm like you: 100% all the time. I've tried hitting 80-90% shots on practice range, and it works. But when I try in a tournament, total disaster. Seriously considering getting rid of LW and getting a club between 194 to 214 yds. I believe ElectableMule6 is also a gal, she doesn't post here but plays her rounds every single week since the start. |

Season 2 Week 25 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth A flawless performance by stoneysooner with a fantastic -33 and a 6 stroke victory over Booze2407 on -27. UncleVirt finishes a further 7 shots back on -20. Low round of the week was a 60 by Tuffguts in round 1.
