I’ll add it to my long list of WIPs! Currently got West Hill due to be finished today or tomorrow. Harleyford Golf Club (Tyrell Hatton’s home course in Marlow) which I’ve had planted in 2019 but just needs tidying up. Then I’ve got the Grove with 4 holes finished and I also have Worplesdon (next door to West Hill and equally as good) to be planted completely. Will struggle to find time to actually play the game! The other good news is that new LiDAR comes out in November normally and hopefully I can then do The Oxfordshire, Burford and Swinley Forest. Winter is coming which is a good time for it! Just read your post again and it clocked to me that I played Harleyford GC last year, I played some great golf to start with last year in my society, 2nd at Essendon CC followed by a 3rd in the next tournament at Harleyford GC. Great course apart from the fairways not being in great condition. Can't wait to play your RCR of Harleyford I played The Oxfordshire about 7 or 8 years ago in my society in extreme wind, bought a trolley bag and trolley after that experience. Really, really tough conditions How funny Paul! Small world! Harleyford was where I got my first professional win IRL back in 2010, pipped a lad called Tom Fleming who’s head pro at a place called Donnington Grove now, still play there from time to time and it’s an interesting layout, few brilliant holes. They still play a Euro Pro event there each year and the greens are always good, problem is it’s chalk based and at the top of a valley so it gets dry in hot weather. Hardest part is nailing the views out over the Thames valley. Really glad I can change the theme background on new game!

Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to playing it in the game.

Just an observation, but i notice a lot of courses with green speeds in the 101 range with the new game. When I created Mauna Kea on 2019, I set the green speed to fast 173 (7.9). hammers1man , do you want to run a practice round on Mauna Kea before the season starts? I'm not sure if we should set the green speed to Moderate with the new game. I'm good with whatever green speed everyone wants to play.

Shall we go with 144 for this Wade as it's good speed in this game, will give it a play tomorrow.

Green speeds are pretty much the same in this game as far as I have tested. Very Slow = 101, Slow = 119, Moderate = 144, Fast = 163, Very Fast = 187 I wish HB would make a slider for green speed on the settings for the round - and a slider that is easy to see how fast you set your greens. Could get more variation in speed, if we could choose 130, 155 etc.

Moderate to Fast or Very Fast works for me, but some greens will need to be Slow to mimic real life on some links courses. I wish there was a way to set current weather/current conditions from in-game. But although I can easily find the current weather or forecast for the next 4 days, I have no idea how to find the course conditions like firmness or green speed. It would be cool if we could get the forecast weather conditions set as the conditions for the tournament. More work for Paul! More work for Wade! Hurrah!

Whenever I select weather conditions, if possible, I always select the actual conditions for the course we are playing. I try to wait a couple of days before the tournament to get a more accurate weather forecast.
