Hi gents! Iโll be back playing (and designing) once the new game drops, will also let you know when courses are ported over which could be a little while if there are loads of new tools at my disposal to improve the existing designs. If there are any of my courses that you guys really like and want to be prioritised just let me know. Looking forward to catching up with all of you for the new game I was going to recommend stoke park for a minor, REALLY like that one. All your courses are very good, but that was my personal favourite. Good to see you paddy!

Try and keep to one post if you can guys. Obviously this will generate discussion and people will comment a lot, but one post for every course would get this thread VERY cluttered.
Also, we do want new course suggestions, absolutely but, remember, a lot of the schedule will remain the same, as for big events and majors it's the most famous courses we want. And almost every course was enjoyed by all!
So we're also asking which courses from this season were your favourites, to definitely keep on tour, and any you wouldn't want to see again.
(We definitely will add some minor event courses, don't worry! And maybe change some big events too.)

Looking forward to catching up with all of you for the new game Good to see you back paddy I did like St Endoc even better than Stoke Park - so I would vote for St Endoc as a minor Euro event. But I can't see a reason not to include Stoke Park either - unless you come with even better courses for the new game paddy If we are doing the Euro swing mid-season, we have lots of time for the Euro courses to port over and even recreate new courses. For norwegian courses - I will recommend Kongsvingers GK, which I will make in the new game, Losby GK and Gamle Fredrikstad GK. And a bonus for Leon: Han is going to make Valderrama even better in the new game - so I definitely want to see Valderrama on our schedule. And another spanish course is also going to be finished for our Euro schedule: PGA Catalunya, which Han and I are going to do (since I have a hand on the wheel - it will be ready, no worries) I also would very much like to see the Brabazon course at The Belfry again. That is one of my all time favourites. I will come back later for US courses, and HB is having more official courses this time. Though I must say - TPC Scottsdale 16th without the stands - kind of feels very off. So I hope the tournament objects on these courses are included in societies.

I think everyone will be happy with brabazon again.
We have 3 designers now, with Wade getting cracking on it as well, so the schedule could get over full if we do 2-3 for all of you guys. Not saying no though!
There seem to be loads of great Scandinavian courses, so I suggest swapping the ones we had this season for new ones ๐
We'll include the improved valderrama and of course Austin as well ๐
Honestly, I either liked or loved probably 90% of the courses, probably loved over 50% so this is going to be really hard!
Spyglass is one of my favs, but I know a few people didn't love that one, so my must haves are probably Firestone and green eagle Nord.
But people can have way more than 2 picks for courses they want to see again, because many will stay! It's new courses we might need to be a bit more strict on...

As for Scandinavian courses; there is only one danish course that I am aware of - Himmerland GK. I have thought of making Scandinavian Old and New. Not sure when I will get to that though. Mikemike has done some swedish courses - unfortunately, you have to pay for swedish lidar data at the moment. But Mikael's courses are good (Bro Hof and Akersberga is the only real championship courses even though both Taby and Vallentuna is good courses). We have lots of norwegian courses though - but I think we should stay on championship courses (why I don't recommend Lofoten Links, it is too short even for USE - great for extra tournaments though, so we can play it in the break).

Give us the list of every championship course then Anders. I really like bro hof. I think I've played vallentuna and really liked it, is it too short or something?
I can use Vinny's list as well, as it has the course length and all that stuff in there ๐

I can use Vinny's list as well, as it has the course length and all that stuff in there ๐ Both Taby and Vallentuna is on the shorter side - 6600 yards from the back tees. They are also both pretty easy. I see Akersberga is even shorter, and can't see that has hosted any big tournaments - so I was wrong there. I see Ullna GK has hosted some tournaments on the Euro Tour pre 1990, and I just had a look at it in game - it is okay, but not to the standards of Bro Hof imho. It is however well made in the game, so if it is ported over - it is a decent course. Championship courses in Norway: We played Atlungstad Golf and Bjaavann GK this season. Losby GK has hosted several big tournaments, Miklagard Golf was designed as a championship course for big tournaments, and it is a challenging course. Critique on the boring environment, but it is a good Robert Trent Jones Jr design. Gamle Fredrikstad GK hosts Nordic Golf League every year. Holtsmark Golf is hosting the Norwegian Championship 2020 (Losby in 2019). Kongsvingers GK, regular stop on the Garmin Norwegian Cup (highest level in Norway). Courses not in the game: Sola GK, Meland GK, Oslo GK, Hauger GK. You can also include some more courses that I don't ever will host big tournaments - Skjeberg, Nรธtterรธy, Tyrifjorden, Borre (no, the course in the game is aweful), Elverum, Solastranden, Stavanger.. I guess I could go on on this list of okay courses for not so big tournaments.

Looking at the US courses: We definitely want to play Austin CC again. Nevermind that I almost won that tournament! I think we should put in Greenbriar Old White (the same designer that made Bandon Dunes, Crooked Stick etc). The course is named The Old White TPC or just The Greenbrier irl. I am not a fan of the recreation of Bay Hill - so I think we should skip this until a good version is made. As pleasant as it was to play Coeur D'alene - I think we should skip it and keep it to extra's. The course is just not a championship course. Also out for me is Hamilton unless a better version comes along. I am in favor of Cypress Point instead of Spyglass hill (I think they are pretty close in geography?). Pebble Beach is also close by if I remember correctly, and we need to have Pebble on the schedule. I think we ought to have Bethpage Black, Muirfield Village, Cog Hill Dubsdread, Firestone South in there. Also on the keep list: Pinehurst nr 2, Oakmont CC (I much prefer CLV's version), Merion east. Augusta for the masters is given - and RBC Heritage on Harbour Town. From HB official courses - TPC San Antonio, TPC Sawgrass, TPC Boston, East Lake comes to mind. We could also have TPC Deere Run, TPC River Highlands.. Majors: For the US Open: Torrey Pines is hosting this in 2021 in real life, and I think we should also stick with that. I think The Open is to be held on St. Andrews in 2021 - but this was to be the 150th Open - so not sure since 2020 was cancelled.

I'm in complete agreement with the above.
Except to say I think you're all idiots for not loving spyglass like I do, fantastic course.
Of the less Obvious courses, I really liked that alcanada one.

Resident designers:
If you could pick 2 of your courses to be on the schedule, which would they be? I will try to fit 2 on, but can't promise...

I will port over Alcanada - so that will indeed be an option. I also like Spyglass Hill. It is a classic good course. I just happen to think Cypress Point is even better.

I really only have one that would be good for USE and that is Mauna Kea. I am currently working on a PGA Tour course El Camaleon in Mexico. If I can do it justice It would be a great course to have on the schedule.
