Played the final round as Billy no mates as I was warned about pace of play in the first 3 rounds by the marshals ( wife & daughter). 😂 Enjoyed the grind ,cheers all 🍻

Nice 3 ball with Anders and Sam who both played some great stuff, nice round by Anders with some superb approach play on the back 9. Bit of a grind for me tempo was off and a few slow and a very slow , a few fast also. Holed a few 8 to 12 footers for par and bogie and that tells the story. Tried to save Sam's lovely holeout approach on 1 for eagle but this game is totally bugged on ghost reply shots. Cmon all lets keep the shot of the week going.   |

Still can’t enter shot of the week as don’t know how. On Xbox, so is twitter or YouTube easier? I once had a Twitter and have YouTube login so I can subscribe etc - does this mean I have a YouTube channel as well? I hit a duck hook 2 iron that stayed in the fairway earlier. I would have put that in. Half played for it as needed extra distance to reach the green if I remember correctly 🍷, and there was space out left |

Round 4 , tee off matchplay-strokeplay with Anders. Needed to make up 4 strokes , was so close till late in the round just edged away in the back end of the back 9. Difference for me is that I hit the greens this round, my long putting is so much more consistent than my chipping flops, pitching. Great course really enjoyed my rounds this week.   |

Good match, we were tied on overall score till the last 4 holes. On to next week.. |

I can't remember what happened in round 4 - my fairway and GIR stats is good for that round compared to the other three rounds (85% fairways, 72% GIR - which is slightly above the total stats for the tournament With 82% fairways and 70% GIR). Looking at the stats, I missed alot more putts, and my scrambling was a bit poorer. Which tells me I did not have the best day on the greens. I lost at least 5 shots to short putts on the tournament overall on the four rounds. |

And like real life, it is at the short game we score or loose strokes. And like real life - distance control is key to a good short game (which makes the loft box so important for the short game as you can dial in the distance) I have usualy good Control on chip and flop shots now, but struggle with the 90-95% pitch shots which I must practice more. (also the 90-95% full shot needs practice). All approaches inside 15 feet is good in my book - though after I changed controller I must say my accuracy has been much better - but that does not mean I get any better at reading putts and distance control on the short game I think though my lag putting was pretty solid this week compared to last week. Looking forward to next week - a course that have opportunities for good scores on reachable par 5's and 4's. |
