Have to say how much I like this course, it's a beast of a par 70. The par 3's are all great holes, the par 4 stroke index 1 15th hole is just a classic superbly designed golf hole. Par is a great score on this course and it did beat me up a bit as every birdie putt is a challenge.. Both my birdie's were well earned 2 big right to left putts from 13ft on 8 and 12ft on 18. Played with Anders and Tuffguts who both played some great and solid golf, really enjoyed it.

Round 2 probably my best ball striking, short game, putting round in USE for a long time, a hard fought 66 (to tie Tuffguts, in good company )and grazed the left edge on 18 with a 15 foot birdie putt. Have I mentioned how good this course is? , loved it. A back 9 31 which I'm chuffed about Some highlights of round 2

3 putted 6 times in R3. Its killing me.
+2 for the round, 6 bogies and a double, 6 birdies as well. Just the 5 pars.
It’s not an unfair course or anything, it’s just hard. Can we have an easier one next week please lol.

Think I had the yips in Rd 1 as well. 2 x big 90 degree horseshoes from short range (and a lipped out chip). Nothing really going my way and ended up -1. Had a -4 in Rd 2 with a few nice putts made but lipped out a 4 footer on 18 for par....a 3 putt bogey from 19 feet. -5 at the turn. Good luck all. Finished -3, -2 for a -10 total. Really topsy turvy at times. Sloppy 5hite mixed with steady solid stuff (sorry, that might put a few people off their dinner ). Hit some nice return putts after those downhillers went sliding by. Missed another 4 foot par putt on 18 in Rd3. Hate that green. Pins in Rd 4 pretty hard to get to at times....particularly if you miss the fairway. Good luck if you get the 60 foot 3 foot up putt on 17 in Rd4. Doesn't break as much to the left as you think. Cheers and good luck.

Round 1 started and ended nice. The other 16 holes? Ugh.

Joining the big guns this week, going to play my rounds on the PC, played in the Old Goats Society and the PC performed quite well, so thought I would give it another shot here. not a great start but quite happy, played with Art's ghost could not believe how many putts he missed, mind you I did not do much better myself

Both myself & paddyjk19 should probably have been a couple of shots lower in the 2nd round, but I suppose that’s what we all think after every round.

Enjoyable 1st round in the company of @sirwade Very nice! I did not expect to see a score that low, perhaps cause I spent most of my time in the first round in the rough lol.

I honestly think that could be the first round of video game golf I have ever played without a single birdie on the card.Hats off to Bethpage & also to gavlaar124.Still don’t think he should be allowed on the course in his pyjamas though 😂
