Round 3 was a struggle, but I did manage another small improvement finishing at level par. Final round scores I've seen make me think I'm in for a whuppin. BRING IT! ONWARD!!

@sirwade How prophetic. Too bad I could not do that in round 4. Was doing ok until the back nine (also the time I was on the phone with my daughter). She is ok, my game? Eh, not so much. Onward!

Wow, starting my 3rd round eagle, birdie, to go from +3 to E and erase all my disasters from the end of round 2 is a nice way to start the day.
Let's see if I can keep this going! (Come on, I'm joking, of course I won't!)

Well that was, er... "interesting."
Played really solid from then on. Barely had a GIR! The greens just would NOT hold a shot. Bonkers. Chipped really well, made a lot of tricky 4-8ft putts.
Had two bogies, and was losing it a bit, but then had a chip in and a nice birdie on the next hole (might have been 14 and 15) to get back to -3. Really annoying short putt missed on 17 to lose a stroke again, and then messed up the 18th and only got par.
-2 round, for +1 overall. I'll take it!
Going to finish now.

These greens just won't take any approach shot! I'm sure others managed it, somehow, but I just can not. Hit a 57yd pitch shot into a green, landed at the correct distance, went another 5yds and off the green! A pitch shot! I saw the pitch mark when I was chipping back onto the green, it was at least 15ft before the hole. (To be fair it was out of 88% light rough, I'm just remembering now, but still...) Two chip ins will always help when you can't get a GIR though Gave those two chip ins back, had one other birdie and gave that back too, parred the last again after hitting my drive 2yds off the fairway into deep rough, then hitting a lovely bunker shot from the green side, but just left a twitcher for my birdie, which I missed. I HATE parring par 5s. +1 for the tournament. Was -1 at one point. would've loved to finish under par. I think I "enjoyed" those two rounds, but slightly worry about my mental health if I did. Was definitely intense. The greens were definitely unrealistically unfair.

Finished +5, round 2 highlight -6 but the rest was painful. Good chipping practice. Have to say I lost interest midway through R3.
