Got my rounds in this week, and I just made too many mistakes. My shotmaking was poor at times, but my game did click in 2 of the 4 rounds. Hopefully the mess that James created ending and the holidays coming to a close will bring back Gav, Jeff, and any others that were maybe staying away for various reasons. I do miss my rivalries.
-9 -4 -2 -9
-24 Total
I'm fairly certain that Booze will beat me by 15, and likely Eddie C by 10 or so as well.

Lol. Different expectations here I guess. I’m at -15 thru 3 with a penalty to be applied and feel like I’m playing awesome.
Just had a read of the old forum. As he admitted I didn’t message anyone about anything. If he wants to play me it can be in TST or elsewhere now he’s burnt his bridges here. I don’t get it. I thought this place would be a respite from the PGA shenanigans, not a place to extend it.
As good old Art says... Onwards 🙏🏼

I’m really new to this society but I was just gobsmacked by what he was saying, some serious issues there unfortunately and hopefully he can work on that as he matures as a person.

Etc etc Definitely some issues there...

Quick question if anyone can help; I play on PS4 and there’s a function to record my gameplay, is it fairly easy to post here if I record on the console? Thanks! It’s really easy to just upload from PS4 straight to your YouTube. You might already know this stuff, but one nice thing I learned is that the PS4 is actually always recording, even if you don’t press the button to start a recording yourself. The default is 15 minutes, so the last 15 minutes you’ve played is always being recorded automatically in the system cache. So if you get a hole in 1 or something, just hold the share button (I think, im still new to this) and that previous 15 minutes will then become a saved video ..which would include your ace. Then just go in and trim it. I set my default time to 60 minutes, so I’m always recording any full round automatically. The cache will just constantly overwrite itself anyway so why not. Just requires a little more work to trim as opposed to starting and ending a recording manually, but whatever. As for my rounds, I’m -7/-6 through 2, but feel like I should be scoring better? I think I was -6 through 9 last round, then just couldn’t do anything at all on the back 9. Mixed in a couple bogies with an awful fast attempt on a par3 and a really stupid chip shot on another hole. First round my second shot of hole 1 went in the water lol. Some of the tee shots are stressing me out lol. On 18 I keep thinking I’m gonna drive straight into the little creek on the right.

I am one of the PS4 guys that knows the type of advantage we have, and when I see a low score on XBOX I can really appreciate the play that accomplishes that. Part of the fun of the game for me is the challenge, and part of me would like to design on PC, and play on XBOX. Unfortunately, I have a little one and funds are limited so it will be PS4 for everything. Congrats on a well played 3 rounds.

I also had to go for the fast downswing on #2 and twice put that one down the side of the cliff. Some people never learn. Lol. I absolutely loved the course, but it definitely has spots where big numbers can come into play.

I can play 4 rounds in a one sitting and repeatedly drive into the same bunker cause I just don’t learn. Going in the water hole 1 in USE is such a helpless and panicking type feeling lol...because you don’t have all those easy birdies like you do in regular Tgc play to make up for it. My immediate thought is “oh my god I’m going to shoot +10”. On 18 I went way too far left in rd 1, rd 2 I made fairway but it was still a wild guess where I just fasted it and prayed lol. I know when I play rd 3, I will still not know where to aim.

I take no pleasure kicking anyone out of this society, I even asked him to make an effort to fit in but there is a difference in having fun and a joke and cheap digs to rile everybody up just to get attention.Just saddened it had to come to it, but he can't say he wasn't given a chance. On a positive note we have Ray back on the forum and his show of sportsmanship on calling a penalty on himself is why I want him to be part of this society and forum. There are many benefits of having our own forum but it is nice to have a say who should or shouldn't be part of it. Also bumped into Paddy in another thread because Anders picked his really nice RCR Mile Ride G&CC which is coming up soon. Nice to know there are others out there that enjoy and appreciate what we have here and another new member.

Played round 3 and took Stoney’s advice and set up to record after kicking off with 4 birds on the bounce and thinking something special might be on the cards.
Played with LKeet and hit the turn at -6 before getting to -9 stood on the 18th tee with a few missed 6 footers for birdies.
Made a complete hash of the 18th hole as anyone who plays my ghost will see! -8 but certainly can’t complain!
Will try to post the video later, Leon was dressed very Ian Poulter like for this round!

Played my final round - and it was a very good round with the exception of 8th and 13th. Finaly made par on the 2nd only to have a slice off the tee on the 8th. 13th saw water for a double. Finished strong with -6 for the round and a -20 total. The best performance I've had in USE, and I think it helped that I know the course outside in. hammers1man - the bar is set

1st round in the bag, I actually started the 1st 4 holes 3 days ago but have been busy so have only just had a chance to complete it. First I have to say what a lovely course as it's the first time I have played it, the kind of course I'd love to play irl. Very memorable par 3's with real character with elevations that aren't monster long like a lot of American courses, not really a fan of 280 yard par 3's. Some lovely elevation off the tee and the drivable par 4 is really nice also, the whole course is just stunning to look at, 5 stars from me. Played with Anders and tuffguts who both played some great stuff. Sloppy front 9 from me with a lay up on 1 pull hooked into the water for bogey and a missed chip and putt for par on 2. Managed to reply with 2 birdies on 3 and 4, hole 8 a very slow pushed 9 iron slice into the water on the right on the short par 3 but hit the reload tee shot to 4 foot for bogey. Managed to catch and overtake Anders with a 30 (-6) on the back 9 which included 4 birdies to finish. Need to keep it up to catch Anders very nice -20 total
