Third round started off with another bogey on the 2nd hole. 3 bogeys on this hole so far - starting to seem like I have an issue here.. more struggle as I miss a 4 foot for birdie on the 3rd, another bogey on the 6th. But then it all came together - finished with a -5 after two eagles.  |

One of my best USE rounds in a long time. Those two, TWO I SAY, eagles sure helped! If not for getting nervous and missing a 3 ftr thinking of the score on 18, I would have been even!

I was just watching my replay to see how I managed to shoot such a great score whilst smashed, and saw that I lofted my drive on the 9th hole of round 2. Drunken mistake, but a 2 stroke penalty please Mr.Scorekeeper. I’ll mention it again when I post my final score.
Was like watching Tiger play for stretches. Had 8 birdies and a 3 putt from nowhere on the back 9 of round 1, then birdied the first 5 in round 2 to get it to -14. Had bogies on 7 and 8, and just caught myself lofting the tee shot on 9, which was stupid even if we were allowed to do it, wind was taking it towards water on a narrow fairway. Stupid alcohols.

Happy new year to the USE team!
Despite a raging hangover I decided to sneak some rounds tonight after the darts final and pegged it up with Rcknfrewld’s ghost.
Managed to just about keep up and despite a very short yipped putt I was almost flawless for a -7 to sit at -12 halfway.
It was good to follow a strong player and compare my own game, hopefully home advantage in a few weeks at Mill Ride will help me make up those 2-3 shots I’m currently behind by.
I’m also still loving the course Anders!

I share my video clips going through YouTube. Then I copy the link and post on here (insert video). If you are talking about a complete round I guess it would work the same but I haven't done that. |
