Literally not hit a perfect swing all day on either pro or masters setting, seems a bit weird really. Have the streamers been hitting perfects regularly or is my controller just not capable?! Lots of questions

Lots of questions Craig seemed to be hitting a lot of perfects on legend playing on Xbox. Wow, he said on other group there’s still same issues, he must be quitE good! I’m getting hang of masters now, hitting pitches chips and splashes with reset intent is a struggle, I’ll be using slowed intent a lot for chipping and bunkers. It takes about 20 rounds to get the feel but it’s plenty playable in end. I’ll have a crack at legend USE later and record it for you guys. I’ll do Stoke Park in the designer as can’t publish yet because of object meter issues |

hammers1man, colly, I got the game yesterday. I was surprised that it came early. I will try to get some time in on it today. Interesting info though, I ordered the PS5 Standard edition from Amazon on hard disc. However, when I received it yesterday it was the PS4 version. I was going to return it but I did a little more research. It appears the only way you can get the PS5 version is to order the Deluxe or cross platform edition (didn't know they had a cross platform edition). Which only gives you a hockey stick putter and some gold apparel and clubs. I'm sure there are a few other items but definitely not worth $30 more dollars. I'm sure the graphics are all the same so it really doesn't benefit to upgrade to PS5 version. Especially since it's not a next gen game. I think there is way too much hocus pocus with all these editions.

@wade. I downloaded it last night,not really impressed so far.Long game seems way too easy,short game is messy without aim marker. I played the 1st round of the TST test event,shot 1 over,mainly due to poor putting.A 10 ft putt in 2k23 requires about the same backswing as a 3 footer in 2k21 😂

Also I have changed some of my clubs but the game just keeps putting the original hb clubs back in the bag,obviously a bug.Very frustrating from a game 2 years in development.

It said I had 500 credits but when I tried to purchase it just had a pop up that wanted me to buy coins. They make it way too complicated. |

Putting just takes getting used to, I absolutely love it and the roll out is much more realistic. I have had a full on horseshoe which I have never seen on 2K21. Greensman is a good starting archetype , I have holed a lot of long putts. You need to set to full cam to see the putting head more clearly for softer putts, it is how I play 2K21. Chipping and bunkers just take a bit of practice and I am really getting the feel for them. The game does get easier the more club fittings you use. But it does play well with no marker. |

The always on skills also but it takes a while to unlock them though I am nearly there.Tbh the always active skills are pretty much similar to club fittings. I don't touch intent just learned to hit a slower tempo for partial chip pitch and flops. It all just take a bit of practice. Been getting up and down quite a lot from bunkers, the lie always seems to be bad so you have to hit quite a bit harder even with the roll out. Will be interested to see how powerful our golfers are when maxed but I think I am about 75% there already. It is quicker than I thought it would be. |

Splash shots are very unforgiving for off tempo, but I love that flop shots are much more unforgiving than pitch. The best place to get used to get use to the shot is chipping green but there is definately a different tempo to those 2 shots. |
