Really great stuff! Very excited by some of the course designer elements too, should allow for some quicker work! The playability quote I loved was “it’ll be less penal in grey but hitting great shots will be harder, this makes the player have to manage their game smarter and aim away from certain pins” That sounds great particularly for us simmers, really very excited now! |

I've got to agree, reading some of that does sound as though it will be good for USE method of play. I am warming to the new iteration more now. |

Also white perfect is tiny on legend and grey larger but not so penal, that's so much better. Outside of grey should be more punishing on legend though so hope they tweak it as that difficulty looks the most sim setting. Chipping looks so much better and now not so many chip ins lol, I had 5 in one round once on 2K21. But it is all about partials and this is absolutely perfect for USE. I really didn't like the scrambling game on 2K21 and nice not to have an honour system now. There is a delay now with analog stick to avatar movement which we'll have to get used to, I think this will help with short chips, hopefully these play well with mouse also. Every shot under 25 yards is a partial shot now. I ordered mine a while back, if you're interested in getting it cheaper SimChars1968 I bought the standard version on Green Man Gaming for £42.50, the other versions are much cheaper there also. I won't get mine till the 14th, not sure if any here have the early access versions pre ordered? I really don't the skills, it one of those WHY moments for me. |

It looks like if we are going to continue with USE in the new game we are going to need a honour system regarding ball type.I think we are going to have to stick with the default ball.The high end balls reduce green speeds,therefore if the green speed is the new very fast (192) the balls with less roll reduces the speed to 156,crazy. ☹️

I absolutely hate this friction ball and roll. I’d be happier if there was a more spinny ball that curved more, was crap in wind but stopped quickly on pitches and wedge shots versus a harder ball that goes further with no spin around greens. That would be a good use of different balls, like real life. Instead they’ve gone for a ball that rolls differently. It’s stupid. Hate it. I think we will have to all agree to use default ball, hopefully it becomes a society option soon to switch on / off |

This stuff is not necessary but it brings more money to 2k. I'm really starting to lose interest in all this arcade stuff. Here is a video by Respawn from this morning. I have not watched it yet but getting ready to. Should be interesting. |

Craig is playing the game now, Xbox players can play the game now if they change their timezone to New Zealand lol.
He said the game plays great with all aids off on legend. They seem to have made the out of grey zone misses more punishing with the release version.
Paddy will you be getting the game tomorrow?
