Also the Tiger edition is extra for his clothes,clubs balls etc. You can play as Tiger in all versions of the game. Isn't that crazy that you have to pay extra just to get his red shirt, black hat and pants etc. Over double the price of the base game is crazy and greedy. |

@wade. I shall be getting the standard edition but hopefully with the cross generation capacity.In other words when I upgrade to PS5 I won’t need to pay again.I don’t have particularly high expectations of the new game.I will be very happy if we just have the option to lock off more things & have improvements to the short game as reported.I have no interest in the addition of Tiger or other pros.Gameplay & quality RCR,s are my only interest,cheers 🍻🍻🍻🍻

Hopefully other planting too. Pot bunkers are in the official course The Renaissance Club and they did say they were working on implementing it into the course designer. Stuff like this will be huge for links courses in the game and our Linksland tour 😁 |

colly, hammers1man, I put in a pre-order on amazon for the standard PS5 edition. It just doesn't make sense to spend twice as much $$

I bought the TW edition for PC. So did my friends skunky and roggro (Roger) who bought the standard edition. I just figured i want the whole deal from the get go. First comments i'm seeing and hearing is that its looking pretty darn good. Chipping made tougher, no splashes outside bunkers any more, improved putting, return of the punch shot, pot bunkers are finally introduced etc. When i finally get the game i will kick off at Master level, clean up all aids and try to get a 'clean screen' as much as possible. USE-Master rules should definitely be the starting point and that means kinda starting over again with 2K23. Wonder if the handicap system can be used in the USE? I use it a lot with some lesser skilled friends playing live multi player and it works great for strokeplay (incl stableford) scoring. Anyway, its early days but it all looks very good. |

Looks like the scrambling game has been overhauled. No splash outside of bunker anymore, LW chip now travels 25 yards so partial chipping is a real thing now. Hopefully it plays ok on mouse but short game much more focused on sim and short siding yourself is a real threat now. Not sure to make of the attributes, not impressed by the boosts. Good thing chipping has been readjusted. Will be interesting to see how it all works out. Partials are part of the standard golf game and what makes the game difficult in general, be it i.r.l. of with a game. |

Do you play on a 1440p monitor Wade? I just ran the 1440p test and my 5 year old OLED doesn't support 1440 😢 I guess years down the road when I upgrade my TV, I will get one that supports 1440. |

Do any TV's upscale 1440p to 4K. Even if your TV did your PlayStation would be downscaling to 1440 then your TV would have to upscale it back to 4K. The game has to support a 1440p mode then your PlayStation would upscale the image to 4K. That PlayStation 1440p mode is for 1440p monitors so they don't have to rely on an upscaled 1080p image anymore. I used to have a 1440p monitor and the PlayStation Pro had upscaled 1080p image which didn't look great The new game does have a performance mode, which will be a lower resolution upscaled to 4K and maybe a quality mode which might be native 4K. |
