Good to have you back Sam. Even better if you stay at least one back lol. Great scoring. Al and Nina played great golf as well. They were both -4 thru 4 and had my by 2 after I’d made a pretty good start. The fans certainly got their money’s worth watching our 3 ball. I had it to -7 thru 10 then went off the boil a bit - but I’m happy with that 👌🏻 Now that I’ve got a pre shot routine worked out I’ll add all 3 of you when I can. I always found it broke my rhythm playing with a partner but now I can switch off between shots so in theory it won’t affect my play.

What a difference a week can make. I brought a new attitude to the Mill Ride Classic. I made sure I stayed positive no matter what happened and a lot of $%#@ happened lol. I had a great tournament and R2 I was smoking hot. I finished the tournament at -20 which is light years from last week lol. Good Luck to everyone at Mill Ride and stay positive!

Had a chance to catch UncleVirt, but squandered it with a poorly played -4 in the 3rd round. Too much heavy rough. Blew the second par 5 as I aimed so far right as I was terrified of the water on the left, with the wind going left. Got par which felt like a bogey for sure. That pretty much set the tone and couldn’t do anything until 18. Sitting at -25 after 3, so it would take a miracle to get to -38.
Nearly had a heart attack teeing off. On the first hole tee off I always do multiple practice swings, looking down at the controller and fidgeting around with the stick trying to get comfortable.. This time, I forget to hit practice. I wasn’t even looking at the screen and I heard the ball get hit lol. It was actually a good shot, but could’ve been a complete disaster!

Has anyone noticed anything weird about the hole 9 green? In 2 rounds, I’ve had putts that definitely looked to be breaking left. Both times they’ve darted hard to the right immediately off the club. Maybe I just read it wrong.

Round 1 played really well tee to green and putted really well. Missed about 5 mid range birdie putts by millimetres, so close. Was going great till the stroke index 1 par 3 11th which I tried to force an 8 iron and come up short, it needed a great up and down for a 5. That put the brakes on the round but managed a birdie on 18 for a 68. 3 strokes behind Anders who holed some great putts for his 67.

I actually did something kind of in the same ballpark in a society event where I accidentally switched from a flop to a full swing but didn't register this until the downswing and tried to save it but it was too late....sent a 30 yard flop 150 yards into water that was barely even on the course....Lol!

I’ve done multiple times! In this society I once meant to use a 5 iron pitch but forget to switch it after I changed clubs a few times. Needless to say, I didn’t intend on it going 200 yards lol. Have done it with the flop also. For whatever reason, once I start my backswing I can not stop even when I see something is wrong. I just panic and shoot.

I have a habit of doing practice backswings. Like, I'll go up with the club to the top, and to get the feel for it, but then just let off and it comes back down, sets, then I do my real swing.
The trouble I have had, is I do this on putts also, to get a feel for it, and thats what gets me in trouble. With the putts, there have been several times, quite a few actually, where I've been going back and forth, and accidentally tapped the ball, and it just goes about 5 or so inches.

I'm calling fatigue...played 10 rounds in 2 days. Normally I like to spread my rounds out over a couple days, but this week was our annual shopping trip to Costco. 7 hour drive to the closest one, staying a few days to enjoy dining out, hot water on demand (lol) and flushing toilets. Think we'll see that 1917 film tonight. ☺️

LOL now we are out of Europe, (thank god), It could be the start of the rise of the commonwealth again LOL Round 3 played, struggled but managed to pull it back on the back 9, I won't post my score, it will give you all especially Ray a chance to play with my ghost without knowing how I finished, (that's if you try and avoid the leader boards between holes) think I will play my final round at the weekend, good luck all mixer.com/samterrencevideo of my 3rd round above

I avoid the scores when I’m loading the ghosts and normally try to go to the scorecard rather than the leaderboard between holes so it feels live. Really nice course this week. Would play beautifully IRL. I know it’s an easy hole but I really like the 10th. If you only get to play one hole in heaven that one would do me. Small risk reward to boom a drive down to the skinny part of the fairway, still a chance at bird even if you miss the fairway, no stupid tricked up green. I’m no designer but it’s a good golf hole in my opinion.
