al @nobluffme Played with you guys for round 1. Knew I was going to be interrupted so went with a pre shot routine rather than going with the flow like I prefer and can do when I don’t have anyone else home to bug me. It helped with the breaks between shots, I’ll add you guys each week if I can. Here’s round 1. Forgive my indulgence on 10 - played it almost perfect 👌🏻. Went -7, -6, -8, -9 for a -30 total. More of the same I suppose, stuck in that chasing pack well behind the big guns. unclevirt was always in the distance and going further away. I think he did me by 8 shots. Plenty of fast downswing tempo blunders in Rd's 1 and 2. Kept it under control a bit better after that. Fairly benign course I thought. Was able to recover from the deep rough fairly easily most of the time and hit the green on approaches. Cheers and good luck. |

I love this course! I know it is Lidar, but the designer did a fabulous job. I felt like I was really playing the actual course. It is too bad that the game makes a course like this so gettable, but I would love to play this beauty IRL. Took advantage of the short par 5's so far.

Topsy turvy round 2 eagled the 5th, double bogied the 10th after finding water, 7 birds and 1 bogey = -6 so -10 thru 2

3rd round was a shambles -4 thru 9 then quintuple bogied the 11 after going in the water twice and lipping out twice ... Speed golfed the rest of the round with 2 bogies and 1 bird for a +2

Speed golfed round 4 obviously bogied the 2nd, eagled the 5th, water again at 11 for another bogey then hole in one'd the 15th for a -6 and a -14 total

Third round was a disaster for me +6. Wind was tough but hit way too many slow downswings.
Fourth round +5.
Think I finished at +3 overall.

I love this course! I know it is Lidar, but the designer did a fabulous job. I felt like I was really playing the actual course. It is too bad that the game makes a course like this so gettable, but I would love to play this beauty IRL. And there is a lot more to a recreation than elevation (which is what lidar data help us with). And as I said before; Your recreations are fantastic well done (hope my recreations is also well done - I didn't do as good a job with my first as you did - you can try it out, it is my home course "Mjoesen GK"). |
