Thank you ☺️. All the credit in reading wind was from reading the forums on TGCTours. A 64 on tough greens in very high winds on Xbox is a really great achievement and you should be very proud, I'd be super chuffed with that round. Proves you can play Ultra Sim as there are no aids to help, round 2 was tough I scored a 71😉 Thanks. In now way I have I figured this out. Some rounds I seem to have the perfect club, other rounds I'm in between clubs. Wind has never been my problem, I have a "wind formula" in my head. And I'm now understanding how to read greens better. |

Btw, I reread the comments, what is this about handicap?
I don't even think about winning, and would consider a handicap win tainted.
I've never come close to winning in TST (no cuts made) and CC-E ( best finish might be top 60).
I'm having a fluke week.

You don’t get any points or anything for the main leaderboard, but it’s a nice addition to see who’s played well compared to their normal performance, and gives us XB folk something to thump our chests about - if you’re so inclined. I am unashamedly so inclined and will take any opportunity to pump up my own tires knowing next weeks humble pie is waiting lol. I should have added your ghost so I could stream how good your round was, but I find it breaks my rhythm. I had a pretty good -2 to be -3 thru 36, trailing by 3. Good luck in the final 36, that warm up seems to be working out well 👍🇦🇺👍 Round is in past streams on Mixer. |

Had a good R3, keeping the run going. -1, -2, -3 to be -6 thru 3. Had a few distractions so there’s a couple of long waits between shots, it’s in past streams on Mixer. Very interested to see how Sam goes this week. The sparse course seems so make tempo fairly good so far so he could go low.

Hi Ray
Practicing on the PC at the moment, struggling with swing tempo but I am improving. I will play my rounds today hopefully. I will decide after these rounds whether or not to go back to the Xbox. The graphics on the PC seem a lot sharper which is good for the putting. I don't have a fantastic computer, so I am adjusting the graphics settings in the game to try and improve this, the swing on the Xbox seems smoother at the moment..
Don't think I will be scoring too well this week...

Tough work for me in round 4. Second week in a row those conditions beat me up pretty bad. -1, -2, -3, +6. E for the event. Was flat out guessing on a lot of putts. In my past streams as always.

Yeah, finishing top on the handicap wouldn't be a "win," but it's more like recreating recreational golf (as opposed to the the pros,) where if you're playing someone better than you, they'll give you a few shots "head start" as it were. It's measuring how you've played against yourself really. And if you finish top, I'd say it's definitely an "achievement..." |

+1 after 2 rounds, but dock me a shot, forgot to turn the follow cam off on the 1st hole Grrr.. Quite happy with that, changing system and controller is like playing with a new set of clubs LOL.
Ray not much danger of me catching you, really struggled in round 2 with those winds hopefully I can chase you down in rounds 3 and 4.

If it was just your tee shot, I'm sure we'd be fine with no penalty. It's seeing your approach shot land where it becomes iffy. For future reference, if you'd noticed when your tee shot was followed by the cam, quit straight out and gone to settings and then come back in, I'm pretty sure you'd have been OK on your next shot. |

Started with a -2 including 2 eagles. Just too inconsistent. Struggled with the putter even on 144's which I like.
Rd 2 was flat as a pancake with 10 pars and a bogey. Just couldn't get the greens right. Had a 20 footer for par in the middle of the round somewhere so a bit of luck on the greens finally.....then BANG! Had 6 birdies in a row from 12-17, incl a chip in from the front of the 17th green up one of those false front killer slopes. Finished -5 for a -7 total at the half way mark.
Gonna struggle to get close to the leaders but we'll see what happens tomorrow. Liking the lack of foliage....no tempo problems when the graphics card isn't tested.

played my approach shot to the green before realising, so it should be a penalty, I finished about 30ft from the pin so it did'nt really help lol. It's switched off now, so I will not make that mistake again....

Had a nightmare, lost my composure and hacked it around the course, +13, (+14 with a penalty) My scrambling saved me on many of the holes, so that was good practice.
Think I may have to return to the Xbox, at least I was consistent on that platform. Having said that the 1st 3 rounds were like playing in the dark, not keen on the early morning lighting, I can't seem to cope with it, buying a torch for the next tourney LOL....
I know how you feel now Ray......
