Round 4 is very tough with the wind and the very fast green speeds managed to hit 4 birdies but 3 bogies as well for a -1 and a -25 total ... Won't be enough to win but pretty pleased with how I played

gavlaar124 out early and going low. Just like old times. I will have to be within a few shots going into round 4 to have a chance. No matter how good my game is at the moment, this is one of those courses that I have always struggled with in SIM modes. Will post progress once I get going. Hopefully later tonight.

Got a chance to use the stepsons PC for a bit this week, so im planning on playing my USE rounds on it. Means I won’t be broadcasting this week, but my ghost will be there if anyone wants to use it 👍
I’m predicting a rough first round being as I haven’t played on PC for a while, but who knows...
Edit - Didn’t know there was a new society for PC. I’m still a member of the old one, have sent a request to the new one 👍 Will play my practice (TGCT) rounds on XB and get back on the PC later today or tomorrow for the proper rounds 👍🇦🇺👍

started off R2 the same way I finished R1. was hitting the ball very well, but still missing every single putt that was under 10 ft. Was +5 after 5 holes.
was starting to get frustrated. after I missed the par on #5, SIMPLY because I was afraid to hit the ball. The thought popped into my head, How would Chad Thundercock handle this? Chad Thundercock would show no fear. He would not be afraid to hit it no matter how fast the greens are!
I swear, from then on, I was +1. With TWO double bogies where I had bad swings and got in trouble, I was still only +1 from hole 6 to 18.
Thank you Chad Thundercock! Man, I wish he'd come back.  |

I went to edit golfer, where you can spin him around, found the angle I wanted, took a screenshot and cropped it down on my pc and uploaded it. |

I played hard for 3 rounds. I was sitting at -1 under par, then watched it all melt away in the final round. That wind really mucked me up lol!   |

Disappointing and frustrating opening -3. Not sure what the hell I was doing, just one of those courses I guess where I can’t help but drive into the rough over and over. Eventually I was just waiting for the moan from the crowd after every shot lol. Couldn’t make a putt either.

Got through about 9 holes of TST. Why does every designer (or scheduler) always set the course up with the sun so low you’re either looking at a silhouette of your golfer looking into glare, or everything is in shadow. That course should also be renamed ‘PGA West (stadium course, fantasy greens)’.
Just about ready to finish my time on TGCT and just play here I think...

Played the front 9 ok, then completely lost my way with tempo. All on me, game was silky smooth and awesome to look at with the boys wizz bang PC. No matter what I did I was having snap hook fasts. Scrambled well to finish +3, found the greens a lot easier to read on PC, but will probably need to play a round (or heaven forbid go to the practice fairway) with shot feedback on to see exactly what I’m doing.
Got lots of RL issues eating at me, really could have used a good round. WAAAAAH!!!!
*Not heath stuff. Stupid bloody GF being a bitch stuff. Or maybe it’s me being a bitch, although I’m sure you’d all agree with me being so level headed and slow to fire up thats totally not likely 🤣
Also, GF doesn’t do her justice, but don’t tell her I said that. 🍑
