Finished my rounds, after a disaster in Round 1 (mostly due to my own mistakes), I managed to pull out some decent rounds in 2 and 3 and a really nice Round 4 of -7. The thing I struggle with the most is consistency. If I lose focus and play through quickly, I tend to really put myself in a tail spin. If I take my time and set up each hole, I tend to score ok. Seems pretty realistic golf!

After a calamity of errors in rounds 1 and 2 my game was much more solid this round but couldn't hole those birdie putts as I struggled a bit reading the greens. Some good scrambling also this round with 78%. What's annoying is that I can hole those tricky 10 footers when it's for par. 15 straight pars starting at the 3rd hole and a poor lying attempted chip on 18 when I think pitch would of been the better shot but just missed the par putt. Nice to see polekatt/josia 's fantastic ace on hole 4

Fourth round - total disaster - started really bad where I did not adjust for the faster green speed. So wimigbg - you beat me this time All I can say is - Onwards! Well, well, well... That’s just more pressure, haha. Going to keep an eye out for you next week.

It’s very entertaining and interesting to read about your rounds. I find this type of golf imitates real golf very well. I score roughly as I did at my best IRL, but never hit so long. But in real golf I had a pretty good control of draw and fade so I could avoid the risky sides to miss on. In the game I have no control, it can go all over the place. And I’m always experimenting with my swing, as I did IRL. Every day feels different. I usually hit a draw/hook with the woods at the moment and set up for that, but not so good to hook into greens and have precision.
And fantastic to shoot -7 at Harbour Town! 😁

Round 4 with wimigbg who played some great stuff(shame about 18) and is stepping up to master difficult really well and davec187 who played the best tee to green USE golf that I have witnessed in 2K21. -7 and could of been better as he just missed about 3 or 4 close birdie putts, well played. Wouldn't play the right shot when I tried his replay of the epic 2 he hit on the par 5 5th hole. Went back and played his ghost in a practice round to capture it (you owe me a beer Dave ). Bit of a scrappy round and tournament for me this week but thoroughly enjoyed the course and the playing with different members.

Round 3 and, yes, level again. This actually helped me into uncharted territory. Anyone have some cotton for my nosebleed? Never fear, 4th round coming up with Artie probably going down.

I saved the reply but wasn't really sure how to get it posted. Beers on me!

Played late this week, was going good in rd 1 but blew up and played a bit better round 2, clung on in rd 3 and played solid in rd 4 to end -3 for the tournament.
41% FWs 48% GIR Driving 310 32ft proximity 59% one putt 90% mid putting, 100% short 70% scrambling 16 birdies
Definitely getting better at pitching has helped and reading greens better, ball striking felt good but the stats don’t lie! Haha
Loved the course Andres, hadn’t played it since the last game and it’s very good! Nice work

Nice work What must be nice for the great designers we have here and tbh all designers who try to recreate real courses as closely as possible is that good golf is needed to score well, even on TGC2019 with USE settings courses were getting ripped apart by the best players here. Put yourself in trouble in tricky positions and it is tough to score par on this course. Great course this week as it rewards good drives and approach play but most importantly good course management and also looks fantastic, I really enjoyed playing it though it gave me a good ass kicking. In 2K21 the RCR bites back
