This week at Harbour Town is probably the most challenging off the tee we had so far this season in my opinion. My driving accuracy has not been very good and it showed in my practice rounds, ranging from 12-40% FIR with scoring from high 70s to low 80s. On top of that, my swing/putting line with my Xbox Elite controller almost looked like my signature. Don't know what happened since my rounds at Augusta. Decided to just go with it and get my first round in. Surprised I was able to hold it together. Played more partials to try and keep it in play. Hit some really good shots with shot shaper. With one, 5 iron punch shot underneath some trees and another a big fade around some tree limbs both to within 5 feet. But missed both putts as my putting line was way off. Could've been a few better and definitely a few worse. -1 to start this tourney. I played some practice rounds on the PC after this round. I don't know if it's the FPS are better or the PS4 controller. My swing/putting line was straight and tempo was better than Xbox. After this week, I'll plan to make the change from Xbox to PC for my USE rounds. Just put in my request to join PC society. It's funny I am the opposite, I can't get on with the PS4 controller at all in this game. Played both PS4 and Xbox One controllers wirelessly on PC and hit the Xbox controller much straighter, also when I play PS4 my swing lines are all over the place.

The PS4 controller is a SCUF Vantage, looks and feels like a Xbox controller. Always liked SCUF products (when they work, ask Wade ). Wish they still sold the Xbox Elite one, have had this one for years and it's been great. Out of nowhere it's like there is no feel of the left stick when I swing. Hence why my swing line looks crazy right now on Xbox. But yes the stock PS4 controller I cannot hit that one straight at all. Kudos to those that do.

I decided to finish up at Harbor Town. I really enjoy this course even though it scares me lol. I was even par for the tournament after 3 rounds. My putter started getting cold in the fourth round and I finished the round and tournament at +3.

Best final score for you this season. Keep it going!

Been practicing on PC after my first round. Not sure if all good those tempo swings transferred over to the Xbox. But ball striking felt really good overall and putting feel came back. Needed that finally stretch of birdies after getting on a bogey train there. Think I'll continue the new practice routine -3 heading into the Third.

Story of my first round was 35% fairway and 22% GIR. I think I am on the right track for putting, but some days without playing - and the long game is not quite there on a narrow course. So - started out with forestry, and was in trouble on so many holes. Couldn't copy Mickelson on the 17th from the grandstands.

Better - but again a bad start, and I just lost it on the 15th and the rest was just terrible.

Added a practice swing to my pre-shot routine and it seems to work for me. First practice swing with tempo (white/grey) and then let loose. Doesn't always work but can start to tell by feel if I'm spot on with tempo or when I've missed a shot. Misjudged pitch shots left some tough chances for par saves on the front. Hit a really good snap draw out of the trees with shot shaper which led to a birdie. Putting line is still in to out but somehow making it work. Had a chance for a level par round on the last but missed the 12 footer. +1 for the 3rd and -2 going into the Final Round.

Up and down Final Round. Back to back bogeys on 3 and 4 put some pressure on myself knowing the scores Wade put in for his rounds. Hit some quality shots to gain some strokes back. Missed a 5 footer on the 15th as my putting line pushed the putt. Making for an eventful finishing four holes to put in a solid score. Did just enough to keep it together. Finished at -3 for this event. I know some players here play there practice rounds on Legend. I've done that since the beginning and I do think that it helps for USE rounds. Never thought of using practice swings before, that also has helped in getting better feel/tempo.

Been loving Harbour Town for a long time, but it’s testing my patience now, haha. I have played many rounds with you as a ghost, Anders. Especially courses in the Nordic countries. Nice to be in the same society.

My card for Round 2 and somewhat of a mixed bag! That high wind was interesting with the tight fairways.
