Final point I will make is the red fast is way too forgiving, should be harder to hit the fairway from it not easier.

Please please please can we lock this thread in a box, throw away the key and lob it down a well.
It’s only causing division in what is normally such a fun society.
Everybody is still struggling and it’s tough and that’s not going to change. I doubt I’ll ever shoot 59 on USE so in my eyes that’s realistic enough for government work.
I promise not to post on this thread if everyone else follows suit

I don’t think we’re losing our USE spirit in this thread. I think we and our online buds have strong opinions on this subject. It’s good to clarify our perspectives.
The respect and friendship we have for each other’s integrity, sense of fair play and love of the game isn’t lost in the debate. Rather they are what drives the discussion because I really believe we want this to *remain* the society that is truest to the grand game of golf.

I’m not sure how many Xbox players can find the sweet spot on tempo with stock controllers but I’m struggling & inevitably am hitting more than 70-80% Fast to Very Fast. Reading this thread that is an unacceptable way to play so I’ll stop play for now & try to retune to a more welcome ball flight.

I’m not sure how many Xbox players can find the sweet spot on tempo with stock controllers but I’m struggling & inevitably am hitting more than 70-80% Fast to Very Fast. Reading this thread that is an unacceptable way to play so I’ll stop play for now & try to retune to a more welcome ball flight. Ignore my rants and just play the game how you want Gasman. I do get a bit passionate sometimes as I want the most realistic experience in my view, I accept it's golf and everyone plays to their strengths and weaknesses so just enjoy the game and try to hit as low as you can your own way. We will be bringing in a handicap leaderboard soon and team handicap matchplay like last season, something to keep all of our members competitive. This is a members society foremost, big changes will always go through all of our members. paddyjk19 and our other members have some good points, I like the way everyone plays the game differently was just paranoid that everyone might play the game one way  |

Playing for hooks as an exploit is... Its all about your intentions really. And you can surely spend some time in the range to get a swing that is more centered. The ”perfect” is put at an uncomfortable speed, and thats probably by design. |

I can’t hit Perfect hardly ever, Slow is a killer so I’m left with Fast to Very fast. I can hit good rounds occasionally that previously I was happy with but now it kinda feels like it’s a dirty score. I’m not prepared to play that way so I’m coming away from all competitive tours/societies & will just play casual career/society rounds until HB get their head out their back sides & fix the game. This is a great place to compete but the game is not right for this type of Tour in it’s current state. |
