Third Round in just now. That short right flare off the tee got me on the first hole, OB. Recovered well with my pitch shot and saved bogey to start. Scrambled a lot and almost one putted the front nine. Again the putter saved me here. Was going with just a LW for all my pitch shots but slowly adding the SW for 45-50 yards. On the par 5 15th, was well right of the green for my third shot. SW was spot on and tapped in for birdie. Could've been worse without the short game. Finished R3 at -1 and -3 going into the Final Round.  |

Final Round finished. The wind played a part on how I went about with course management in this round. Par saves to start. Solid pitch shot on the 9th led to a birdie to make the turn at Even. The finishing holes were tough with the wind. Been aiming away from hazards and playing the fade I’ve been working on for these holes with the driver. Stumbled my way in on the last three holes. Hit it into the hazard on the 17th. Barely clear the hazard on the last with my tee shot. Played it safe and aimed left of the pin but couldn’t get up and down for par. Round 4 at +3 and Even par for the event.  |

 My putter is absolutely killing me at the moment  Played OK from tee to green, but still struggling with reading the greens and judging the distance with long putts, especially when there's shadows on the green.. Made some great approach shots with big deliberate hooks & slices to difficult pins, I wish I could've posted them here somehow, have to turn my screen recording on for the future rounds (I didn't see any option for replaying the shots after finishing the hole PS4, it just goes straight to the next hole). I still have faith in the putter getting warmer as the season progresses! |

Made some great approach shots with big deliberate hooks & slices to difficult pins, I wish I could've posted them here somehow, have to turn my screen recording on for the future rounds (I didn't see any option for replaying the shots after finishing the hole PS4, it just goes straight to the next hole). There is an option to view any shot you hit in the round if you press start, it's there somewhere. There is also now an option to do it after your round, if you want to save a replay of your last shot for example Thank you! Just tried it, didn't even know that was a thing  |

Third round was really solid until the 18th - hit water twice this round, for a double and tripple bogey. Best fairway stats for me in a long time with 77% fairway. Really solid off the tee.  |

I got big problems with stuttering on my putts on the last round. I do not know if that is because of the rain - but I have my suspicion.. Had for example 7 putts on one hole..

There do seem to be problems for me since the first patch. It has nothing to do with framerates because I am getting over 70 fps. The game hitches now and again otherwise it runs really smoothly. Ran perfectly before that first patch. |

I got big problems with stuttering on my putts on the last round. I do not know if that is because of the rain - but I have my suspicion.. Had for example 7 putts on one hole.. There do seem to be problems for me since the first patch. It has nothing to do with framerates because I am getting over 70 fps. The game hitches now and again otherwise it runs really smoothly. Ran perfectly before that first patch. It is not fun wathcing your putt skid 10 feet past the hole or just barely moves forward - several times in a row. I find the avatar is much less responsive to the movement on my stick on these occasions - I can move it as I normaly would, and nothing happens - just get back to the ball.. and suddenly the ball flies 15 feet past the hole. And all I can say is.. "wtf!?" |

And all I can say is.. "wtf!?" If you do get framerate problems again drop the settings down for sky and fog shadows. I tweaked these settings and went from 45 fps to 75, without any visual difference I could notice. |

I had the same problem yesterday with clear skies. Didn't happen before the last update. Yes - seems like it may be unrelated to framerate and rain - sorry Paul. I have found out I need to change putting technique so to speak - move back slow, but be decisive and aggressive on my follow through (also the case for pitches, flop and splash). So I have tested a little bit, and stop the backswing a bit earlier, but more aggressive forward motion on the controller. Seems to help.. I hope. |
