Al. I answer to Sam or Terry, started using SAMTERRANCE years ago in the LINKS games when SAM TORRANCE was a top player, a play on words, I am actually called TERRY but it is a shortened version of Terrance .

I played my first two rounds in this format at Riviera. Matching 82s
Questions: does no shot shaping mean no punch shots from under the trees?
I didn't in my frequent visits just chipped or pitched (can't pitch in this game for the life of me??) sideways.
Should distance and elevation be showing on pin? I assume not since you suggest no pin marker.....Its fine with me but it I didn't have that disabled in my settings apparently.
I enjoyed my rounds....real golf course definitely helps in this format.

We are still deciding on settings but I don't think we'll be banning true shot as it is much better than tgc2019's shot shaper and not just a dial in meter. For distance and elevation info you need to go to the settings Display & HUD and set distance info position to In HUD, looks way better without the numbers over the pin imo. |

Cocked up and set Riviera again on PC, such a great course and probably HB's best. Round 1 played well but missed 4 birdie putts under 10 foot, 77 is not a bad score on this course. Round 2 hole a 44 footer with a big break from left to right on hole 4, got a bit scrappy for an 82. 17 over. Played the first round with Josia and Anders helped to slow my game down. Enjoyed playing with ghosts again had none of the previous bugs I had before.   |

Paul, how do I record a video in the new game? I just use windows own record and screenshot. If you use an Xbox controller push the X button in the middle. There is a capture box in the top left , or just press windows key+alt+R. windows key+alt+print screen for screenshot. |

I'll sure be happy when the patch comes out to fix the societies so we play what it set.
I managed to get all the settings correct, except for the one where you can hit the Y button on the green and get a worms eye view, and move around. So playing without grids, with no way to see it one unmovable camera, it was really hard to see any of the breaks.
Sill managed to shoot +18, and at least 8 of those putts were the ones that I had no idea of the break, so I think I did ok!

Have you got approach and putting camera on?, it's set off by default. |

The locked settings for society works on PS4 but not PC for some reason.

I am setting for another society and I think you can override default settings when you set each event, as an Admin when you set up the new event there is a difficulty tab, and you can set it up for that event.
