+2 first round, +3 front 9, -1 back I think it was. Should have been +13 but somehow managed to hit flop shots with my LW stone dead, or holed 8-12 footers for par on so many holes.
Was all over the place, even worse than normal, short game held up which is something....

Not much to see after my first round. Really struggled with the last 3 rounds. Onward

Round 1 in the books for me. Couldn't run down Eddie C, but he was helped by a HIO on the back 9 and an eagle at the last. Finished the round -10. I would also like to add that this course should play much more difficult, but the par 5's in the game are just to easy to hit the fairway and then reach the green. I had at least three makeable eagle putts. I did; however, enjoy the course very much and I played very well to get that -10 round in. Seems like the conditions get harder moving forward, and that is how it should be.
-10

Bogey free -7 to start made an eagle on the 12th but struggled on the 119 greens which I detest

Eagled the 12th again but had a horrible triple bogey on the 5th to go with 5 birdies for a -4 2nd round

terrible terrible putting in R2!
I think I saw the faster greens listed, and thought they would be faster than they were, so I was hitting softer and jerky. Or maybe it was me!
At any rate, I counted 5 of those short makable putts that lipped the cup or went right over the edge within an inch. and finished +5.
bring on the winds!

Looks like I was scheduled first off the tee today on the PC side.
I managed to continue to hit the ball very well, and got under par! I read that this course might play a bit easy for us, but I would like to think that I'm also playing better. We will see how I fare in the later rounds.
Since I had to start so early, I was famished, and went inside the clubhouse for a nice Sunday lunch at the turn. Came back with a full belly and felt weighed down on 10, but managed to get the momentum back after that. Overall very pleased.
We be tied thanks to my birdie on 18. Shanked a couple of shorties, otherwise a decent round.

Round 1; -12 thanks to an ace on 10 (it's a full straight 7 iron), eagle on 18 and some close approaches. Glad to be able to attack my putts on the slow greens. Round 2; -4. Chip in and flop in eagles on 4 and 6 and at one point was -6. Double bogey and bogey (water on 18) brought me back to the pack. Not happy I couldn't hold it together. Just takes a couple of tempo glitches and it can all go to 5hit. Anyway, sets a halfway target. Thought the wind was meant to be medium in Rd2? Appeared to be on the high side to me. Cheers

#Straya. Take it to ‘em mate 💪🏻🇦🇺👍
-4 opening round for me. 2 back on ElectableMule6 and tied with Freebird on XB. Just the one bogey, no tempo complaints. Major pin placement complaints though!!!! It was always miles away from where my ball was lol.
It’s in my past streams on Mixer, heading in for R2 shortly.
Onwards ✊🏻

Round 2 was a classic example of getting over confident.
Just fires at everything thinking I was in the groove, missed a couple of back pins long, missed the first par 5 on the wrong side and didn’t make birdie and all of a sudden I’m +2 thru 9.
Don’t think I birdied 12th from the fairway for the 2nd day running (smh) but finished with 3 birdies to score -1.
-9 at halfway and genuinely looking forward to the tough final two rounds, I love it when it gets gritty and tough, will definitely not be free wheeling like round 2!

Cheers There can still be some variation on wind, in my experience. I find this quite often when comparing practice rounds (with tournament conditions set) to the actual tournament roinds. it's not big, but you can notice it. I thought the low in round 1 was about as high as a low wind can be. It was actually properly affecting flight (tho only a touch, obviously...)

Had 5 bad holes. 3 bogies, 2 doubles. Had some off tempo stuff but it was all on me. I had a couple of fasts so tried slowing it down and had slows. When you’re not confident over your shot it’s really hard to line it up. When you’re confident it’s all just about the swing...
Also - WAAAAAAAH!
+2 second round after doubling 9 as well as 18, -2 at the cut.
