What is Ultra Sim Experience, and how to play

Ultra Sim Experience is an ongoing online competition on PGA Tour 2K21 with the goal of simulating the real game of golf as close as possible.
All platforms PC, PS4, XBox.
To join the Ultra Sim Experience you need to post a message on this forum where you state your gamer-tag in PGA Tour 2K21 and what platform you play on. You must also request membership on the online society for your platform.
The Ultra Sim Experience has one tournament each week with 4 rounds from sunday to saturday. We play only real courses.
To achieve the best simulation, all aids are turned off.
We play with these settings:
Master swing difficulty
Swing timing on
Distance control meter off
Distance control assist off
Putt preview 0
Course yardage On
All Pro Vision off
Scout camera off
Green and Lie grid off
Pin preference Open
Aim marker off
Wind display meter only
Distance display carry
All these settings are set by the admin that create the game in the society.
But you must also do some changes:
Turn off follow cam before you start.
If you want to play with ghost balls, you must have turnbased marked in the game.
You must turn off swing vibration.
Be sure to read our guidlines that we expect you to follow.
The reason for not using follow cam and out-of-turn ghost balls are that you don't see the ball flight like this in real life, and they provide unrealistic aids in green-reading and lie. If you had a fantastic shot and want to see the replay - that is perfectly fine on the next hole tee. But make your putt before the replay so you don't get that unrealistic reading aid and watch the replay as many times as you like. Some even record it and post videos of hole-in-ones.
It it is not allowed to chip out of bunkers. The reason for this is that it is unrealistic and very hard to do in real life on sand. The game does not provide explosive bunker shots, so we use flop shots from greenside bunkers.
Also, it is not allowed to use the splash shot outside a bunker. The reason for this is that this shot is very risky outside a sand bunker which is not represented in the game, and so is unrealistic.
The ultra sim experience has expanded and has two more societies cross-platform:
USE extra tournaments: this use real courses and have one or two tournament each week with two to four rounds depending on length of the tournament.
USE Fictional: Hosts tournament on the best and most realistic fictional courses.
To join these societies, request membership in game and post a message with your gamer-tag and platform.
