Hi all, I may not be welcomed as I think I've joined this group twice and quit. First time quitting was I couldn't figure out how to read greens. I've resolved that issue as I'm getting the hang on TST. And, having great success with Masters clubs. I quit the second time as I was in too many societies. I've parked it down to just C.C.-E and TST. I'd like to rejoin if you'll allow me. I'm on Xbox, gamer tag: no bluff me Real name is Nina Martin Only rule I don't understand is the ghost ball rule. In the past I've used them, and have ticked off the box under turn order. Under USE, I'm not allowed to tick that box, correct? Hi Nina, you need to have the box turn order ticked so you actually see your opponents avatar. The main problem with ghost balls(non turn based) flying around your screen is that they play out of turn and can give multiple reads of the green before your putt, as well as being more arcade than sim. You can play with up to 3 opponents and you need to turn off ball labels also. I suggest not using the behind camera as irl life it is illegal for you to watch opponents shots or putts from directly behind them which includes caddies standing directly behind their own pro. Something I think we need to put in the rules. There are a few spectator cameras that you can watch your opponents putts from in the game. |

yeltzman is this something you do just on the greens? Are there other areas (like a hole overview map) that could help tee to green? EDIT just opened the link, there IS plenty of info in there! hammers1man would you consider this within the spirit of USE rules? IMO it would be like looking at the scorecard in your pocket and seeing a course map for hole routing. Green reading? That I don't think I have ever seen on a scorecard, not with that kind of detail.

If you click the guide the fairways layout and tees are on one page.....and the greens are on the other side.Please note would not recommend this for everyone just sad people like me who like to play with the guides. It is the lidar Version,but without the Lidar in title tried to use chad's tool to change course title but when i go to publish it goes offline.Must be something to do with a copy course or something.

I have just bought TGC2019 in the steam sale £13.49, could not resist just applied to join your PC society and I was thinking of trying a few tourney's after some practice of course.
Is it possible to play in the Xbox society which I have played in up to now and then switch to the PC society the following week and vice versa, until I decide which platform suits me the best. I don't have a top spec PC now (it was 5 years ago LOL) so it could play with a lot of glitches and my scoring could take a nosedive. not to far to dive though LOL

And I'm sure we are all okay if you want to switch platform from week to week until you find what you like the best. |
