Fellow USErs, I just played my first round using the preset Legend settings because I am bored and a bit masochistic  . Here are the differences I see between Legend preset and USE: Master swing difficulty (Legend) Swing timing on Distance control meter off (meter only) Distance control assist off Putt preview 0 Course yardage On (Book Only) All Pro Vision off Scout camera off Green and Lie grid off Pin preference Open (Out) Aim marker off Wind display meter only Distance display carry For the life of me playing Legend swing difficulty FELT NO DIFFERENT FROM MASTER. Legend does have follow cam (vet USErs know I like me some follow cam but I do shut it off for USE and USE only), and honestly I prefer the distance control meter off and the course yardage on. I do like the pin in (IRL as well, just gotten use to it with COVID and all) but can deal with the pin out. Reason for my rant? IMHO I think USE is a lot closer to Legend than we think. Go ahead, try a round with your USE settings but change the swing difficulty to Legend and tell me if you can tell a big difference. I can't. Rant over. Onward! |

I play on Legend swing difficulty, and all the rest as we have in USE when I practice these days. In the last tournament, I have ca. 60% fairway and GIR on Master swing difficulty. My normal stats on Legend are closer to 30%. So it makes a difference. But, it is a bigger step from Pro to Master, than from Master to Legend. Practice on Legend makes your confidence higher when you play on Master though, so I find that to be important.. I don't have that confidence to hit fairway or greens on Legend.. |

Big difference with off swing plane edge of box shots. Can result in huge push and pull shots in Legend difficulty. Played about 6 rounds in a row with legend on day one release and did notice that master was more forgiving when I switched to that difficulty.

Are you fellas using the shot shaper this year ? Yes shot shaper is allowed in this game. Major change is no splash shot from outside of bunker. Those are pretty much the only changes from season 2 and TGC 2019 |
