Finished out R3&4 chasing Gavlaar. Couldn’t catch him once again. -3,-4. Grand total -11. I suggest we have a worst shot of week trophy too. I have a few contenders 😢 You know, I actually think that’s a great idea! As someone who can take this game a bit too seriously sometimes, I think it would be really cool to have somewhere where we can post and just laugh at our terrible shots. |

Horrible R2. Birdied the first two then lost all ability with the putter. Think I had around 34 or 35 putts, which is about 10 above average. Got to the point I was rushing my irons because I knew the detonation was going to be on the greens - and it was, repeatedly. Doesn’t matter how close you hit them on rounds like that.
Not blaming the greens, was all on me. Feeling a bit ADHD right now. Can’t focus on anything and I’m bored 2 minutes into whatever i do.
71, 75. +2 for the event. Not sure the pro clubs are helping my scoring much, but at least I can play without stressing too much like I do with Masters. Any stress reliever will do right now.
Probably due for some Eye of the Tiger...

Thanks. I really didn’t have an appreciation for how good it was....until I played round 2 😂. I don’t know how I shot that well now! Dude, -5 is still very good. -9 in the tougher conditions is just insane. Yeah, you’re totally right man! I’m way too hard on myself sometimes for no reason. |

Eye of the Tiger worked, like it does 100% of the time.
-6 third round, found my putting mojo again. -4 for the event thru 3.
Couldn’t face the very high winds in R4, I’ll wait a day or so and creep up on it 👌🏻

Soldiering on. Had a -4 in rd 2 so at +2 after 2.
I’m also 4 under for the 18th hole, couple of cheeky eagles

Very happy with my +1 opening round. All about perseverance and mental fortitude, this one!
Had a disastrous quad bogie on the 3rd hole! Slow backswing AND fast downswing, carved it off down the cliff into oblivion. Super hard hole as well, into the bunker with my next attempt.
To play the course in -3 from there, in those conditions, I've got to be very happy with. Annoyed I didn't birdie the last to get to E, but the steadying run of pars after my quad was what made this round. Unlike me to remain so composed! 😂
Going to play one more...

-3 second round which, considering I was -4 after 6 holes, is a poor round.
I actually kept it going pretty well for most of the round, I was getting birdies as well as bogies, but three bogies in a row right near the end wrecked my round.
Middle of the pack again for Leon...

I’m struggling for motivation at the moment as West Hill was such a labour of love that took hundreds of hours, once I get started though I’m sure it’ll be fine |
