Round 2, and since hammers1man helped me out with my game at Dubsdread earlier he would be a good partner at Torrey to try and straighten out the debacle I had in round 1. He did. 15 shot turn around. Thanks Paul.  Onward! |

A rare Monday appearance on the course....-9 opening round. Missed two short putts on back to back holes, one being an easy 5 foot uphill 1, but did make a chip at least to feel like I offset that. That's an insane score. Well played. |

Well played Art really nice recovery after your first round and you beat me convincingly this round, was gonna post my scorecard this morning but you beat me too it. Played really poorly myself the awful 5 putt on 5 didn't help which is unlike me to putt so aggressively. Never recovered after that, I'll be back in round 3, really enjoying the course  |

-9 from booze in that first round, -15 total by Gav; I was aiming for the top guys to be around -10, so I obviously didn't make the conditions tough ENOUGH! 😝
Was aiming for us mere mortals to be fighting for Even and maybe dip below, so we'll see how it ends up.

On Round 2 they paired me with Tuffguts who put on a masterful golf show! On #13, as I was putting back and forth, I kept thinking where is his ball? I didn't realize thats the one you holed out from the fairway until I finished putting and my caddy said c'mon. Beautiful, as we couldn't even see the green from the approach!
I was a bit frustrated myself. I was ON FIRE in my warmup/TGCT round, so I thought I was going to do great. Then, I missed 4 putts in the first 4 holes by less than inches it seemed. (2, 3, and 4 should have all been birdies, then missed the par putt coming back on 4 the same way) So that pretty much frustrated me. I started hitting fast (not internet, I just hit too quick when i get frustrated) and every other shot seemed to miss by a few feet the wrong way. I persevered though, and settled down a bit on the back side, and finished with two birds to at least bring it down into the respectable range. but ohhh, what coulda been!

Finished out R3&4 chasing Gavlaar. Couldn’t catch him once again. -3,-4. Grand total -11. I suggest we have a worst shot of week trophy too. I have a few contenders 😢
