I am not going to create a work in progress thread on TGC tours forum for this one - but I would like to tease you here a bit on my progress. A thing about this course, is that there has been some changes made during the years since the lidar data was done. That means that I have some things to think about. The most important is the 13th - where the left greenside bunker was first removed, and then replaced when they changed the green in 2016 - also the right grenade bunker was enlarged. As for now, I have decided to make changes to the green so that the right side is suitable for pins. But I have not changed the right bunker, and also chosen not to insert the left bunker. My reasoning is that misses in heavy rough is actually harder than bunker - with usual worse lie. Another hole that has been made a bit easier is the 14th. I have decided so far not to make this green any easier. Which may lead to some frustration on at least one pin.. As for pins, I have planted and used the US Open 2019 pins. If anyone has comment on the changes, bring it on. Another change that I have left as it was is the 6th tees. This do not impact gameplay.

Can also add that this will play harder than the version that is in the game. Daily tease:

And after looking at that picture, I realizxe the bush is too high there - so that has been taken care of. Getting a better view of the tee.

You see quite clear over the creek and it is not blocked by bushes. Here is how it is now: And a view of the 3rd green. I am debating hard with myself if I ought to change the hedge on the left side of the parking-line down by the 17th. I think that hedge doesn´t look good..

The size and slope on the 14th is correct, so I think it is pretty much up to date. But that is one for beta test for sure. Todays picture of the 4th green:

Not really designed a course with that many trees before, one thing i have noticed in this lockdown after looking at the HB theme's which was released and the amount of trees in them, the Stock trees i feel in the designer are too big,Finding so tough comparing holes to match tree size up.Looking at a Few RCR's recent i just feel the trees are too big in the designer especially if you use multi-plant.its a real pain reducing tree size but just found out Copy works so that helps a bit.

Yes, the trees in general are too high/big. Even with minimum size, some will be too high. I also use auto gen trees for the large background. Also, for this course I would like to have oaks, pines, and other trees, but no theme with those trees would be good, so I choose the delta theme. I only multiplant dense forests, and very little on this course.

its like the houses and building as well just find when you compare pictures of a course the house in the designer looks 2-3 times as big....Glad someone else thinks the same but really HB been a bit naughty with the amount of trees they have on file and the released ones to the public.HB's Courses should look a lot better.

Beta is published - name is PBGL Beta.
I dare anyone to play this on very fast and very firm - and I'm pretty happy if someone do that on the Friday pins (pinset 2) - and give spesific feedback on the 14th. Any feedback is appriciated. Some questions that I want to get answered: I tried planting the rock surface down by the 18th tee and the 7th green. I could not get it to look good and correct. Do it look okay as it is? 13th green: bunker on the left side or not? Any details that I've missed? Is there some glitches that I have missed? Down by the 10th green: The gorge between the hole and the house on the other side and up, have quite heavy bushes. I have postponed planting this area, since it is not well seen in game as far as I can tell - so I wanted to save some plantmeter. Do you feel that this area needs planting?
