I finished my final two rounds playing solo at the Wales Open. I played poorly the final rounds. I didn't seem to have the correct club distances with the pin yardages and wind. R3 (E) and R4 (+1). Total for the tournament (-5).   |

Round 3 and I was unduly influenced by that poll about "push-me-pull-you". IT WAS IN MY HEAD MAN! 2 chirps, 1 Humph and 2 double Humphs. +3 moves me back to +6 through 54 holes. Not bad for me IMO. Keeping polekatt/josia at bay. Onward! |

Round 3 with Art and Virt. Silly bogey on 1 from just off the green but very solid if not spectacular for the next 17 holes. Highlight was this 20 yard chip for eagle on 9   |

Round 4 with Woody who played really well on the front 9 but unfortunately let it slip on the back 9. Poor round from me, putted poorly (I normally do in slower greens). Very disappointing 74.   |

Rejoined polekatt/josia and hammers1man for the final round. Wouldn't you know its raining in the UK! Although I played well outward, inward saw a visit from Frosty on 14 and I took another swim on the last hole. Alothough Josia beat me soundly in the round, I eecked out a victory in the toonamint. Thanks for the game fellas, and as usual.... Onward!  |

We were 4/29 when I got out but finished 4/107.....some awesome power hitting from our No 6 got us over the line with 13 overs to spare. Cheers All premier cricket has been cancelled, will you guys get to play your final? Hope so for your sake - or that you finished top of the ladder and get it handed to you. Not the same though, such a shame. |

Not the same though, such a shame. Nope. SMCA and WASTCA cancelled the rest of the season. Unfortunately lost 2 or 3 games we should have won, finished 3rd and would have been playing the top of the ladder team....so yeah nah, runners up again. Not a great way to finish my 37 year career as a player but the club as a whole are putting the whole thing into perspective and we'll probably end up with 2 flags out of the 4 teams we had in the GF. This means I'm able to join my mates down south for a bucks weekend....a pretty handy second prize....that is if the govt don't make us all house bound. Cheers |

Final Leaderboard at Celtic Manor 2010 course Stoneysooner's -28 gives hime a 4 stroke victory over colly45 and gavlaar on -24. Low round of the week is a 61 in round 2 by the Wales open champion. Shot of the week by Sir Wade again!!! This fantastic 62 footer up the tier, would have been hard to beat.  Handicap Leaderboard Jeff got his putter in gear this week with a 2 stroke victory over samterrence, Oldskool_stomper takes 3rd place.  You must complete 5 tournaments to feature in the handicap competition Use Rankings and week 35 results up tomorrow. |
