-4, -9, -6, -3 for a -22 total. Putts finally started dropping in Rd 2. Rd 4 just couldn't get the ball close for the most part. Plenty of approaches in between clubs. Cheers and good luck.

I can't say it enough. I love this course! Played well throughout the week, and made some clutch putts in the fourth round to take the PS4 clubhouse lead. Hit a lot of fairways and greens in one of my best ball-striking weeks on USE.
-3 -10 -8 -7
-28

Round 1 is in at the beautiful Celtic Manor. I played live with Jeff and Neil. We were all tied going into the 14th. After a bogey on the 14th. I played conservative on the 15th and ended up with a triple bogey. That really screwed up my round lol.

I played much better in the 2nd round, live with Neil. Trying to work my way up from the bottom. (-6) after 2 rounds.

Josia your long game was superb, your long putting was really good also your pitch and flops, work on your chipping (You just hit them too hard and sometimes use the wrong club, your medium putts which you also overhit) you really should be at least 10 shots better after 2 rounds with the golf you played. Hit the putting green and chipping green before each round just to get that feel for distance around the greens. Thank you! I have really been working on my long game and I can feel it getting better. I realized some things, and changed some mechanics on my swing (trying to make it smoother) and it has helped me, I feel. I do agree that I have the most problems on medium putts, the ones from 5-10ft. On the chips that go to far, it almost feels like its doing something like in real life, if you don't follow through, it hits it wrong, and instead of a smooth chip, it goes low and fast off the club, if that makes sense. same with putting, if I don't hit it smoothly, it seems to come off the putter at a wrong angle. And yes, I really do struggle with picking the right club while chipping, in relation to where I am and what the green is doing. Medium putts it's about the pace, I never try to force putts and I know it works for others but not for me. If you try to play correct pace (no more than 3 foot past the pin) you are going to take out those 3 putts. If you find you are not giving enough break just give that little bit more. Downhill putts are going to break so much more than an uphill putt, that comes so much into play when judging how much borrow you need. Chipping, so many of your chips will be partial LW chips. Remember a downhill chip can be severe, so if you are 9 yards away you need might need to land it 3 yards or less. This is a practise thing, it's about feel and imo up there with the putting for realism, hated the chipping on TGC2 but love it here without the loft box which absolutely kills the difficulty and fell of the short game. Josia work on those 2 weaknesses in your game, practise range chipping from every distance and putting from 5 to 10 foot, also learn the chip rollouts from all scenarios. Learn your partial distances, your game will improve immensely you watch and see. As Lee Trevino said "The more I practise the luckier I get"

Round 2
3 chirps and a lone Humph on 17. Quite happy with -2 for the round and +3 halfway.
Onward!

I goofed and went into R1 with player clubs again. Waited more than 24hrs and it hasn’t taken me back to the screen where I can change my clubset like it did last time??
I’ll try again tomorrow, but time is getting short to finish sadly. Might just try to finish the alt event tonight and see how I go tomorrow.

Good luck in your cricket semi 👍 Hey ray, had a great win today in SMCA One Day D's. They were 1/73, ended up rolling them for 106. We were 4/29 when I got out but finished 4/107.....some awesome power hitting from our No 6 got us over the line with 13 overs to spare. Cheers
