I finished up my final round on Alcanada. What a fantastic job Anders did creating/designing this course. I'm really liking this course a lot. I was able to pull four good rounds together for a change. I finished R4 (-8) and (-27) for the tournament. Good Luck to those finishing up their rounds!

These greens really have my number! Missed putt after missed putt..infuriating. I have no idea what I’m doing off the first tee lol. The only time I’ve been in the fairway is when I think I bounced off the cart path and got lucky . Other than that, twice I’ve sent it way left even thought I was aiming right down the center! -23 (I think?) after 3.

Yep. But also, there are times you're not playing well tee to green, but you get chip ins and hole all your putts. There are times lag putts drop in (it's skill to get close, but you can't claim 30-40-50ft putts dropping are pure skill) And there are times you read the putts well and they just don't drop. People who know me well, know my coulda/woulda/shoulda shtick has a heavy sense of irony to it. I always accept my scores, but golf is an infuriating game where, the majority of the time, we've fallen a few shots short of where we could have been. When that "few" starts creeping above 3 (about SEVEN in this case!) You can expect to hear me moaning about it That is golf It's just amazing the times everything comes together - great tee to green, every putt drops etc. I'm still annoyd on the bogeys and misses I made this tournament. Could have given hammers1man little bit more to chew on. Good target to shoot for Anders, going to tee off Round 2 shortly.

Nice - playing so fast and still shoot that well. I spend alot more time reading the greens (even if I know which way they break). I had a hook off tee on the 7th on my third round resulting in a bogey - so at least two stroke loss on that hole in that wind. We had quite similar distance and lie on 15th - I think I got a fast downswing to get my eagle. Yeah, putting is something I'll always struggle with in TST/USE. It's never been a speed issue but a line issue. I don't mind it though because it makes it sweeter when they go in (: I just really struggle to see the line. I'm sure others do as well though so no complaints here=P You are a very strong 5 to 10 foot range putter, and very aggressive from that range a bit like Larry was.

At the Grand Final on the European Challenge Tour in november, the winning score was -6. Truth be told - they had very difficult conditions; wind at 30 mph at times.

If anyone wants another little USE tournament this week, check the news and announcements section for a little experiment I'm trying

Round 2 tee off with Anders and Tuffguts, favourable scoring conditions but boy did I enjoy that. Only 3 back from Tuffgut's fantastic 57 with a personal best USE score of 60 -12. My mid range putting was poor in round 1 but great this round, holed a load of 9 foot birdie putts and the rest of my game was super solid apart from a silly bogie missed 6 foot par putt on 12 Really great shooting Paul!

Great round hammers1man. I'm glad there's a few of us out there that showed you can go really low in USE. Don't you love it when the putts just start dropping....I do get the fist pumps going when a big putt goes in. Good luck in Rd's 3 and 4. Cheers

Great to not be too far away from your great round of 57, well played mate 👏. You final score will take some beating this week, could be following your handicap win with a win this week. 😁
