I just played R3 Solo. I missed at least 3 makeable birdie putts. One was a 4ft birdie putt on #16. But that's the way it goes. I did manage to chip in off the green on 18 for a birdie. I finished R3 at (-5) which I will take in those winds.

Ok, ok, I'll stop moaning about all my missed putts 3rd round, whatever happens happens! I had one of those rounds in TST. Finished -4 (I think), must have missed 14 birdie putts. Normally you’d expect a few of them to drop, but some rounds - nope. It eats at you because even if you drop a few next time, it doesn’t get the ones back that you missed last time. Golfs a funny game, the more you play it the more it gets in your head. Ask a 14 year old to make a 3 foot putt and they’ll just walk up and hit it in the hole. We’re all so scarred from past experiences we’ll look for break that’s not there or stand over it with ZERO confidence. Yep, a funny old game.

Very close on the Xbox this week after round one..... Any idea who ElectableMule6 is? He shoots a -9 in R2 I noticed. Haven’t played mine yet, carrying a dodgy wrist so won’t get the last 3 done for a day or two. I believe ElectableMule6 is a she.

Yeah, I have a lot of them, because my tee to green is (usually) very solid, and my putting is less so. But it can get annoying if people think someone is saying they "deserve" more all the time. So I'll give it a rest for a bit But yeah, you're spot on

Clinical second round. -6. Birdied 3 of the par 5’s eagled the other one. Made bird on 18 after stuffing one close, apart from that it was the par train for the par 3’s and 4’s. Missed a heap of putts reading break that wasn’t there.
-10 thru 2.
Come get me Sam 💪🏻🇦🇺👍

Nice - playing so fast and still shoot that well. I spend alot more time reading the greens (even if I know which way they break). I had a hook off tee on the 7th on my third round resulting in a bogey - so at least two stroke loss on that hole in that wind. We had quite similar distance and lie on 15th - I think I got a fast downswing to get my eagle.

Frustrating R3. Was just guessing with putts. Also had a controller battery issue, and the backup ones fresh off the charger were also dead. Raided the battery draw and struck gold, but it broke my rhythm. Waaaaaaaaah!!! -13 thru 3. Tied with whoever ElectableMule6 is? If it were SurprisinglyElectedJackass I’d know and just call him Donald lol.

Whoah….the ol' sober play seems to be working. As well, changed my PC settings from Ultra to Medium and my frame rate doesn't suffer on the really leafy / heavily wooded courses. Sometimes would drop to 40-50's fps, now over 100 all the time. That equates to a heap less tempo issues. So onto this week's tourney: Rd 1; -6 Plagued by those pesky 8 footers. Think I missed 3 or 4 on the front 9. Putts looked straight and shaved the edge, or looked like a bit of borrow and went straight. Actually had a lot of those through the 4 rounds. Sunk plenty of putts with more borrow but those almost straight ones can be dangerous. Rd 2; -15 So what am I complaining about?? I dunno...it just clicked. Approaches were all close to yardage for irons and putts went in. Ended right up there with unclevirt at the halfway mark. Moving on. Rd 3; -8 Biting my fingernails in the high winds and trying to stay in contact with the lead. Birdied 18 to take a 1 shot lead (for now). Rd 4; -9 Some clutch putts went in and irons were good, as they were in TST last night. Overtook Uncle V with 4 or 5 holes to go and a bit of a curler for bird on 18 to finish at -38. We all leave shots out there but geez, can't complain overall. Hitting some form. No speccy shot of the week contenders, just solid stuff. Cheers all and good luck.

It's never been a speed issue but a line issue. I don't mind it though because it makes it sweeter when they go in (: I just really struggle to see the line. I'm sure others do as well though so no complaints here=P
