Round 1 with Mike and Skunky, I went into meltdown on 3, 5 awful holes in a row. But like my real life tournament I turned my game around. Changed my swing irl and the positives out way the negatives. Hit the best 3 wood on this game on 14 downwind over 300 yards to 2 foot. Round 2 started well with Will but he left me for dust after hole 2, bit scrappy but not too bad. Holed some lovely putts, 50% long putts for the round.

TPC San Antonio is a tough course, be it mine or HB's official course. But it is a fair course, and it punish mistakes and rewards good shots. So I find it very fun to play. Yes, the course lacks the Valero Texas Open canvas and hotel the official version has, but the official also lacks quite a bit of stonework etc. We do play official versions of TPC Scottsdale next week, and we do play Detroit GC, Bay Hill, and TPC Boston later on. I had a mixed bag of good and bad shots in my first round. Started out pretty bad on the first, then I found the center fairway bunker on the 2nd hole drive - and some poor scrambling. But overall pleased with the round, though I probably would have been sub-par before the changes as I did get a couple of hook drives that cost me. Had a couple of way too long pitches, so I am not sure what that was. Hit the green on my 17th drive - though 78 feet eagle putt downhill 1 feet, was not easy. Though, fun PC leaderboard for me after the first round.

Final round and playing with a new @pakalolo77 . Don't know how he played the first 3 rounds, but this one was Will as I have seen him lately. Hardly hitting a fairway, hardly hitting a green, but holing every putt. Meanwhile I was hitting fairways and greens. Two very different rounds. I had a good finish and am a happy chappy after this week. Temporary PC leaderboard. And I notice the 74 from skunky .

Round 2 was good - except the new silly bunker splash shot. Lost 5 shots to duffs from bunker. It is just silly.

I started switching up a club then back down. That solved it for me. I do that, but it doesn’t help. I should just pitch from the bunker, but that is unrealistic. But then the current way splash is in bunkers are also unrealistic, so I don’t know..

Round 4: A couple of sloppy approach shots on 9 & 10 cost me 2 bogeys.I lost a bit of focus after that which culminated in me hitting my 2nd shot on the 17th 30 yards over the green after changing from a 94 yd pitch with my PW to a full shot but forgetting to club down to a SW 😂 Why this game has to continually try to make you hit pitch shots from these distances is beyond me 😕
