I found this on the TGCTour forum. This is why PS4 players, could if they chose, to have a perfect swing. To me it would be like playing pro difficulty on master. This has been known by the elite players for some time now. Seems someone is always finding a way to cheat the system. I use a PS5 but I still have a PS4. This seems to only work on a PS4 with a PS4 controller. I did order a 10ft charging cable for a PS5 so I can play wired. I have been playing wireless since November when I got the PS5. I used to play PS4 wired but I had no idea about this work around for tempo. Here is the thread, starting about page 50 and a video that was just released last night. So what do you guys think? tgctours.proboards.com/thread/28106/pga-2k21-update-fast-nerfed?page=50

Effectively making it easier and less accurate to your real timing is cheating in my book. I most certainly would be playing wireless if I played here on PS4 as the finishing points would be truer.

That’s me classed as a cheat then as I have played PS4 wired for the last 3 years 👍

I meant this calibrating technique the top players seem to be using that makes the game easier seems like cheating to me. Plugging in your dualshock doesn't make you a cheat. A plugged in dualshock is still more accurate than the series X controller I use as it is still more sensitive and you get more accurate points. If I were accusing you of cheating wouldn't I be cheating even more.

I am on PC and just want to play in a way that reminds me of real golf as much as possible. If grown men want to go to so much trouble to get ahead in a golf GAME, I don’t really care. They have a problem, I do not. I still enjoy my rounds.

What does left right calibration mean anyway?

I first plugged my controller in during the early days of tgc19 I think which made tempo more consistent, there was no calibration in those days. With the new game I just continued to play plugged in as I believe the vast majority of PS4 players do.I have calibrated probably 3 or 4 times over the last few months, always with the intention of just swinging consistently.I now play all my rounds without shot feedback.Wether I am gaming the system or not I really don’t know but I would hate to think I am gaining a huge advantage over others due to being plugged in.

Booze seems to think it is easier to play wireless "Medium and hard should be swapped. On master difficulty, in this scenario wireless would be medium and the default wired with center perfect only would be hard. The rounding shrinks your perfect window. So technically speaking, by playing wireless you are also making the game easier compared to default wired." In my opinion you are getting a much better representation of your swing playing wireless.

The problem is this calibration method, you are supposed to set your own individual tempo . It wasn't put there to hit really slows and doing this plus wired and the points rounding off seems to make the game much easier on PS4. This method in my book is cheating as it's manipulating the game.

I would appreciate the views of other members on this subject. First of all - the videos posted are crap. Poorly made, and I am left clueless as to what this is about and what is done. If someone want to explain it, go ahead - but this is quite akin to the bad "evidence" videos made in TGC 2019. But to the subject of trying to break the game and fool the system: this is totaly contrary to our ethos and purpose in playing the game as realistic as possible. The same can be said of some different things that this arcade-player do - for example charting wind so you know how many times you need to press the left arrow for a certain wind etc. So I expect and believe none here to do this kind of thing anyway. Things like these videos are best left alone in the garbage bin, and not worth commenting in my opinion. It is totaly okay to play wired (I do on my PC), wireless etc. And calibration was meant to be 10 normal swings that set the perfect window towards your average - and that is also totaly fine to do.

hammers1man. I will play some rounds wirelessly & see if there are big discrepancies in my performance as I see you are being very vocal on this subject over on the tgct forum.

Mark play how you want, the problem is with that craZy calibration technique which is done with wired. Booze seems to think wireless is easier if you calibrate to perfect as you have less rounding of points. As Anders said is not in the spirit of USE or the intention of calibration by the game's Devs. If you read the TGCTours thread you'll see that I said I didn't find any difference between wired or wireless. My point to you and Wade is the PS controller plugged in is inferior sensitivity and latency wise but still better than Xbox controller. I suggest to you and Wade is try both ways and see which you prefer
