Staying with the warm weather and sandy beaches theme. The USE Tour heads northeast to the beautiful Island of Bermuda. Another regular stop on the PGA tour will provide us with another ocean course. Ranked among the world’s best public golf courses by Golf Digest and named Bermuda’s finest course by the New York Times, Port Royal features 18 championship holes over 6,842 manicured yards, the longest and most picturesque course in all of Bermuda. Designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1970, Port Royal has recently undergone a $14.5 million renovation, a complete makeover spearheaded by original design team member Roger Rulewich in preparation for the 2009/2010 PGA Grand Slam of Golf. With the support of the Bermuda Government, Port Royal is now one of the world’s premier public golf courses boasting TifEagle greens, a state-of-the art irrigation system and sweeping ocean views from nearly every hole. Add to that its’ 300-yard oceanfront driving range and the course’s luxurious clubhouse and your Port Royal experience is sure to be unforgettable. In addition to welcoming you and your guests for a perfect day of golf, Port Royal is proud to host corporate, society or charity events and tournaments throughout the year. Your clients and colleagues will longingly reflect on a superb day in paradise made possible by our professional staff’s gracious hospitality and warm Bermudian charm. You will notice to the left of the 15th tee the remains of Whale Bay Battery. It was built in the 1700s and used to the end of WWII. Those left with any question might consider Port Royal’s signature hole. Widely regarded as one of the greatest par threes in golf, the 16th hole is a 235-yard crescent-shaped beauty with nothing but the Atlantic Ocean between the tee and the pin. Experience it for yourself and you too will understand why Port Royal is indeed the number one golf course in Bermuda. Pin locations for all 4 rounds are from the official PGA 2020 Bermuda Championship.October 29th - November 1st 2020 Brian Gay takes the win at -15Weather conditions for the tournament

Seems I was made admin of the XB society and now cannot 'unjoin' it to free the spot. Any ideas?

Trying to keep the progression going this week. Started off a bit wobbly (and maybe a bit stupid ) but got back in the swing of things on 4 and 6. Lots of birdie chances (9!) so left lots out there again. Mistakes dont help either, so it is what it is. Happy with my play although 8 missed fairways keeps you on your toes. For now par is my target so i'm holding on. Hit the carpath on 18 which turbo-boosted my ball way past normal distance but this time i got lucky. Could not convert this chance with a birdie attempt putt just off the green, where my ball sat against a collar of rough. Good course. 16th is signature hole alright. A beauty! You dont want to be off line too much there! As usual, great playing conditions, realism is top notch.

Another nice course by @sirwade this week. I started with a birdie. At seven I hit my approach shot at the par 5 within a few feet. I converted my putt for an eagle. I made bogey at 14. So -2 for the round. My play was solid, so I look forward to the rest of the tournament.

I jumped out on the course with Infamous Eddie. I tried to keep a steady tempo and good putting. It was enough to get me to -4 for R1. I was happy to birdie the par 3 16th, signature hole. I really enjoyed the beautiful Bermuda weather and a slight breeze.

Round 1 on this beautiful course that gets better each time I play it. Paired up with charles56 and two different strategies up against each other. Or at least I feel I am the percentage player, trying to stay out of trouble and patiently waits for putts to drop. And Charles is more of an attacking player. At the 1st tee I took a long look at the pros and cons of hitting a driver. With a very little margin of error and the "win" was half a pitch, I hit a 3W and 5 iron and settled for par instead. And Charles hit a driver and got wet. Another day, I walk away with a bogie and Charles with a birdie. Anyway, Charles putted very well and I can't remember a 3 putt although he left himself longer par putts than I would like. But the chip with a 5 iron to 6 feet on the par 5 17th was the gem I will remember. I stayed most of the time in the fairways and on the greens, or just outside. A few putts dropped and with a clean card, I am very satisfied with my round. Good to be a stroke ahead of my friend Mickey Mouse too.

It will be tough to keep up with you playing in those strong Bermuda Breezes.

As expected for me, a poor showing in the tough Bermuda breeze. I did hit a nice approach shot for a tap in eagle on the par 5 #7.

Another lack luster performance at the Bermuda Championship this week. I didn't bother saving my scorecards so I will use the leaderboard shot instead.

Off and away for the First Round. Started off a bit on the conservative side with some decent chances. -1 on the front side. Lost tempo in the middle of the round. But hit some solid shots on 14, 15 and 16 for three consecutive birdies. Just too many loose shots with the driver once again, 42% FIR . Didn't take advantage of the prime conditions. Scorecard didn't want to save. Four birdies and three bogeys to finish the round at -1. Really enjoy this course. Got some work to do in the next one.

Round 2 and @pakalolo77 said he had some work to do in this round. Well, didn't we all in this Atlantic storm. And boy did he work. All over the place, but still pitched and putted himself to a 66 despite a visit in the sea resulting in a double bogie. I thought I held it together very well with a 69 (as did skunky), but that was eye popping. He's back. Two different strategies again. He drove long and pretty wide at times. I used a very short and forgiving driver and switched my 3 iron to a hybrid to keep the ball down. That was fun as I like to pretend I am thinking my way around the courses. Me on the 16th. Aimed way right and still managed to draw the hybrid with the wind down there. Lucky to be dry and 2 pitches and a putt later I was very satisfied with a bogie.

Played my Second Round last night. Mike was correct in that my drives were quite wayward. Those first few holes did not feel good at all with the ball striking. Still was able to scramble around the course out of the rough. Had a solid round going until the 15th. Right to left wind. So aimed more right than normal. Hooked it, heard the cart path left of the fairway. Saw a few bounces as it crossed the 16th. Then it disappeared from view. Needed to climb down the ravine as the ball was stuck in between two rocks. Thought about taking an unplayable but who knows where that drop would've taken place. Didn't end up well as it went nowhere but into the Atlantic. Luckily had literally a few inches on the beach to drop the ball. -6 at the halfway mark.
