My R1 was pretty decent, just a bit above average.
R2 was great on the front nine, then the wheels came flying off on the back!

There's a new update out for PGA on PS5...may have fixed the crashes. Was able to get through the back 9 w/ no issues. Round 2 score 78 (+6) Tourney Score (+22):

Too many mistakes on my first round, but playing solid. First mistake was a bit too aggressive first putt on the 5th, leading to a three putt bogey. Next is a hook drive into the trees on the 6th, but okay scrambling for another bogey. Chip in birdie on the 9th was good, and a very good approach on the 10th from left side rough. But then I made several mistakes - first a bad pitch on 13th, then first a left miss on the 14th, and a right miss on the 15th. And then a left miss on the 17th drive.

I played a round on Catalunya and unfortunately it crashed 7 times during the round. This is the only course I have had problems with. Must be some bad Lidar data lol.

Crashed twice in first 4 holes, said to myself if it crashes once more I wonβt bother trying to load it again.Managed to complete but struggling to enjoy. I will probably attempt 3rd round later in the week but if it crashes once I think that will be me done for the week, just takes forever to keep re-loading π€¨

R3 was frustrating. hit +9 on two holes. Hit +2 on the rest of the course. One hole on the front I hit water 3 times on the same hole. didn't even realize the water was going to be in play where I hit, then it wouldn't let me place the ball anywhere but way back in the forest. So had to go back to the tee, and did the same exact thing. Then hit the other pond for good measure. scored a 10 on one hole. Then on the back had been doing great, and hit what I thought was a great out of the sand, ball landed nearer to the hole than I expected.... and rolled about 50 million feet. on a splash. *shakes head* That one rattled my cage so much I couldn't putt.
Two awful holes. the other 90% of the course was great, though!

Second Round in. These greens are probably some of the trickiest to read and quite slick especially when you need to get on the correct tier. A few flare right drives but was able to recover and scramble for pars. Would like to thank the designer for placing the retaining wall on the par 3 11th at the right height as a backboard. Nuked a hooked flighted 7 iron there and got extremely lucky. Solid back nine which could've been a few lower. But on some of these holes, pars are very good.

It was an 6 iron Will - and I thought you had a members bounce where you landed on the planks; but you land on the green and roll onto the planks Good solid round. The only big mistake was 4th - and I was sure after your second putt that you would get double or worse

Round 3 with polekatt/josia in a bit more wind. I remembered this time to hit a 3W on the 4th. Sorry to say, Josia did not and did what I did for 2 days. I then hit a GW to 5 feet and thought I would get my revenge, but no. Still have a feud with that hole. Played very well from tee to green, 78% FIR shows the Callaway driver was a good friend. But I just couldn't hole many putts to close in on Tuffguts and that train has probably passed now. Very steady play from my playing partner on 16 holes, the other 2 are described in color a little bit above.

I just had a vision of you chipping that ball back down the hill on the 4th to get big and nasty numbers

Third Round in. Been working on getting rid of that grey fast. Big difference between being around the pin or 25ft past and a downhill putt. Just makes it tougher to get the distances right. Methodical start to the round with a few chances early on. Then took what the course gave to finish the front nine. Toughest green is that back pin on the 17th. Took that and ran to the next . A few misjudged shots around the green left me some tough putts which led to a few blemishes on the scorecard. I'll take the score in those conditions on this course.

Rounds 1 and 2 done and not done well. A few chirps, a few dips and did a few sand angels as well.

Round 4 and finished as I started, with a 73. Used the par 5s for birdies and it almost was enough to keep me on even par. Still, -5 for this week is better than expected, so I am happy. And thanks for 2 wonderful weeks in Spain on equally wonderful courses, andersnm . Unless you beat me...

Rounds 3&4 of the tourney. Had a few freezes, and some blowups but fun nonetheless. Can't wait until the next one.
